May 15, 200620 yr "It's like judging a book by its cover. Sheesh."Nope... I bought it (FT777) and it's crap...Sorry just being honest...:-shy
May 15, 200620 yr Let's see,1. GoFlight MCP not working 2. ILS LOC/Glide Slope not functioning3. Fuel being taken from tanks when pumps are switched off4. VNAV not controlling speed in the cruise5. FMC approach selection does not function6. Gauges need a special font to work 'Arial Narrow font'7. VC textures poor quality8. Position of the seats in the VC far too low9. VC in general is very poor quality compared to comparible products like CLS's offering10. 2D panel is very poor quality (please don't have me grab a few freeware panels for comparison)I could go on and on but I'm at work... :-boom
May 15, 200620 yr To the ones who have already purchased this B777 from Wilco/Feelthere- Does it have wing views? (As opposed to the PSS777, which does not). Awaiting comments. Regards,MarceloSCEL
May 15, 200620 yr Just curious. Does the fact that any addon does or does not have wing views really a deal breaker? My CS C-130 has a various wing views and I think in 6 months Ive looked at them once.
May 15, 200620 yr >...or a Project Airbus add-on, which has been annouced quite>some time ago and will probably never see the light of day. I>think I'll pass and stick to the PMDG one.>>Sorry, but that statement of mine was on the same level as>yours.>>What is wrong with those screenshots? Last time, I checked in>the FeelThere forums, please were in awe about the visual>model.>>It's like judging a book by its cover. Sheesh.I actually considered replying to your post, but it's got so much blatant ignorance cramped in a couple of lines, I don't know where to start from.
May 15, 200620 yr >/mission accomplishedWhat, in pissing people off? Mission accomplished indeed, then. In fact, that seems to have developed into some little hobby of yours in this topic. :-roll >Linking to a dead website is bad.I beg your pardon?
May 15, 200620 yr "Welcome to Project Airbus. Website currently under maintainence. Please Check-Back Soon."I guess that has been the scenery/status of the website for quite some time. And the spelling is wrong. "maintenance" and "check back". God forbid, if that would happen in your Airbus EICAS. I can be picky, too.Do you resize the textures in your project as well, blow them up to from a 640x480 resolution to 1280x1024 and want me to judge them? Probably not, because it would look pretty darn ugly. You haven't brought one ounce of constructive criticism to this thread, but rather dismissed the 777 by "resizing textures" from the Wilco website? Sorry, not a valid argument, pal.

What the ####? The only thing I mentioned was resized SCREENSHOTS.
May 15, 200620 yr Peace. State your point like others what exactly you don't like about the 777 and do not judge from screenshots. Didn't mean to #### you off. Well, maybe a little bit, because I am bad with developers bashing other developers for no apparent reason. The other guy came at least forward with some good arguments what he does not like about it. Treat other people like you want to be treated and you get a fair response.
May 15, 200620 yr >The other guy came at least forward with some good arguments>what he does not like about it. Treat other people like you>want to be treated and you get a fair response. And he was told to 'sod off'. Uuh, all right.
May 15, 200620 yr Actually Patrick, the website has not yet been uploaded because out webdesigner has had a career opportunity, a big British Airline he works for has given him the chance move house (and country) to work on the big 'liners at LHR. I'm pretty sure anyone would have done the same. The A320 will see the light of day, a lot of work has been done latelly, but my hobby has pretty much disapeered because of it. Trying to regain my hobby, while passing exams, and having a "life" outside which i've so much missed out on over the last 2/3 years learning to model / modelling itself. Ofcourse, this means people don't get the A320 as quick, and I do apologise. However, i'm confused to as why are you comparing it to PMDG anyway? We all know PMDG offers a completely different product, for a start, you might be able to actually fly it like an Airbus (I take no offence to this), and you will have to pay a large sum of money for it. Whether the other areas are better are worse are up for debate, but not from me. If you ever looked into our addon you'd see you shouldn't be expecting to see an "EICAS" included, it is freeware afterall. "Godforbid" you ever find an EICAS in an Airbus anyway...I'm sorry but your comment for me ######, statements like that do no good. I've been working on it for 2 and 3/4 years now. It will be released, but you can bet your #### it won't be rushed.Who cares anyway, it'll never match up to any of these payware addons i've wasted my money on with appauling models / FDE's. I've just about had it with some of the crap people have come out with, but the one thing that annoys me the most is people who will follow the crappiest of payware addons over good freeware ones (and i'm not comparing myself here, i'm comparing others, I wouldn't want to be being arrogant) just because they are payware.Appears i've rambled. Not trying to start an argument, but alas my points never come through how i hope. Ah well, back to exam revision...
