May 12, 200620 yr I'm tempted, even knowing what it lacks, but $34 US, for what they themselves claim to be a stripped down "simple" simulation, seems a bit off. The 737 PIC is only $2.50 US more.I suppose higher fuel prices must be affecting FS addons now as well. :-) Regards,Brian Doney
May 12, 200620 yr The 737 PIC is a fps HOG.Worst than all the others I have and for such a bland cockpit cannot figure out why.I learned the hard way but I NEVER buy on opening day. Wait a few days and check out the forums.I just left the 777 forums and its getting busy.
May 12, 200620 yr excuse me gdafc what exactly do you mean that Feelthere are not that far behind and do eveything the awkward way???????I think buddy that you will find that FeelThere support is second to none! - period.FeelThere have always said that this expansion to FS will be on the 'fleet' scale and nothing like the PIC complexity. We all know of the other well known developer and their 777, but this model by FeelThere was never a straight runner up against that. Give FeelThere the benefit of the doubt here and just read a little into the reason behind this model it is not aimed at the more advanced Flight simmer...oh! one more thing if you are going to rant... you spell there like 'their' when talking in that context ... :-)PHIL
May 13, 200620 yr Man o' man. The 737PIC was a real disappointment for me and I removed it from my system. The low frame rates and stutters with all the tweaking was enough to make me dizzy. I hear all of the FeelThere products are resource hogs. It's too bad because the 737PIC had a lot of potential.Anyhow, look at that VC! The yoke is even backwards! The trim should be on the left! :-lol You can tell the instruments are jacked up as well. I wouldn't give 1 cent for that plane. I can assure you it's gonna be bad, even after all the patches, and they'll be a couple dozen. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
May 13, 200620 yr Yes, the FT 777 looks realy bad, but I do not feel disappointed as I am for advanced aircraft systems only, so I just find no interest in this toy. No interest no pain. As for 777 I do own and fly PSS. No way to compare thsese two. But, as for PIC737 some of you guys criticized above, my advice is that you just give it another chance. True it had lots of bugs in the beginning and the FPS problems wa one of them. But after all the numerous fixed the final product now is very good. My system is not very powerful, yet I'm getting very god FPS with it and almost no stutters. It's not perfect but very good. Just give it one more try! ;) Sorry fot a little OT.Best regards,RafalP.S. By the way I can't understand why FT chose Legacy as the next product instead of, say, an ERJ-170. Are there really so many people enjoying flying luxurious leather seats around the world? Hmmm....
May 13, 200620 yr Yeah, I tried the 737PIC about two weeks ago, and the final patch did nothing for me in the FPS department. The stutters were horrible. I fly payware only and performance has never been a problem except that product. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
May 13, 200620 yr This is so annoying, whatever I do I can't register onto the Feelthere Forums so that i can post my problem. WHenever I register I get told I will be sent an email containing information required for me to activate my forum account and with 3 different email address's I still dont get any emails, not even in the spam folders. All I want to find out is why whenever I activate the weather rader I get a crash to desktop with 777.gau being the problem. This is so annoying.Rant over.Is there anyone here with this addon who can go to the feelthere forum actually post a message on my behalf. ThanksCraig

I think the screenshots look fine. Those who own it say it looks even better in use. Well ok, that's of course subjective..Using words like "horrible" and "disappointed" is a bit amusing after you've seen a few small screenshots and especially as you would probably not settle for anything else except a Level-D -class simulation..

The VC texture is a good example of bad usage photoreal textures, photoreal textures doesn't mean it's going to be good!, just look at the color mismatches between the displays and the panel cover. The visual model, it doesn't feel like a 777.Of course all I said in this thread is based on my opinion.
May 14, 200620 yr I agree, the PSS flight model leaves a lot to be desired and if what Wilco claims on the website is true, someone has finally, FINALLY done away with the ridiculous proprietary auto-pilot coding! Those of us who despise using a mouse and keyboard to fly can finally use our GoFlight investments without having to reprogram keystrokes and all of that malarky in FSUIPC. A little less eye candy and a more user friendly aircraft with sensible features and compatability is a welcome change of pace for me. About time, Bravo Wilco, you'll get my $34.00. http://www.graphics-free.com/animations/tr...ges/plane_6.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.

Ever try a 767 or 747 using the default AP and compare it to the good addons? It's not even close... Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
May 14, 200620 yr i purchased Wilco 777i also have PSS 777you can not compare both products since Wilco is the light version - and i mean very light versionthere are a number of problems with Wilco 777 - hopefully they will be resolved by the developerthe MCP GoFlight module does NOT work with WILCO 777 - as promised on their websitethe FMC has problemsthe flight dynamics are ok - no better nor worse than PSS777i would wait until they resolve all the issues before byingBo Bo Klop
May 14, 200620 yr Ryan:Not even close to what? Are you a real-world Boeing pilot? If so, good for you, ok. I am not a real-world pilot, and neither are most of the people in this hobby. Personally, aside from the advances in computer graphics, which is phenomenal, amazing, and enhances our enjoyment of this hobby, I find thatthis "as-real-as-it-gets" mentality has gotten a bit out-of-hand, to the point where most of us probably spend as much time updating and tweaking FS9, our graphics cards, and FSUIPC (admittedly fun), as we do flying in FS9 altogether. I am a real-world father, with a real-world , full-time job, who fantasizes himself as a competant, virtual heavy jet pilot. My time is limited. I do not have the time to learn how the 747 or 767 systems work inside and out, much as I might like to, but I do enjoy planning IFR flights for one on real-world routes, in real-world weather and using real-world Departures, Arrivals, Approaches, ATC (FS9 and Online)etc. The joy of simming is different for each of us, and I hope that if I'm ever on a real-world 767 and the crew is incapacitated, someone like you is on my flight to work the systems....I'll fly the aircraft...http://www.graphics-free.com/animations/tr...ges/plane_6.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
May 14, 200620 yr Bo:Well see, that's great information. Forget it then. I'll stick with MelJet and Ken Mitchell's panel for now. Works, with GoFlight, good frame rates, nice flight model, and looks good in screenshots too! http://www.graphics-free.com/animations/tr...ges/plane_6.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
