My Time in a 777-200 Sim
hi all i was the other person that shared this sim experience it was fantastic Paul did a great job landing the plane he did mostly hand flying although this plane was not meant to hand fly but rather fly mostly autopilot the yoke in this sim was very heavy and had about a 25-35 lb torque on it just like the F15 - even though they are fly by wire the feedback is very strong and heavy once trimmed the plane is very stable without autopilot or any yoke inputs all in all it was a great experience - i even brought my 9 year old son and he landed the plane with Paul's instructions and my little assistance with the yoke
- Anyone want to join me in a 777 full motion sim?

Petition: Rehire ACES studios and resume work on Flight Simulator 11
Fsmp - your point is exactly correct mgh - unfortunately in my opinion you are the one who is missing the point, it is of no one' s concern who LM is developing for as long as you have the opportunity to benefit from the situation i.e. the ability to purchase the product in either educational or professional form, in the end by LM allowing to sell their simulation product to the public we the enthusiasts are the ones that reap the benefit In the end we all want the latest and the greatest but are not willing to pay for it FTX global just came out $99 and PMDG 777 will likely cost the same, plush countless of other addons we have purchased throughout the years, so why is everyone moaning and frowning about a $199 price tag for a full professional simulation - anyone can purchase that , there are NO restrictions, or you can be a perpetual student and buy the exact same program for $49 and be lucky about it LM is developing the next generation of flight simulator wether you like it or agree with it is irrelevant , just accept it as a fact And finally as stated before by fsmp "put up or shut up" if you are willing to buy it

PMDG Releases Statement Regarding EULAs for P3D
Well said Glenn P3D is a great flight simulation software. We should be grateful that we have continuation in this arena. Just accept it for what it is and enjoy. FSX is officially dead - Microsoft confirmed that. The future is P3D ver 2 - and we should all be excited about it and rejoice it.

An Interview with Lockheed Martin - P3D
Great interview I have always strived to attain and experience the most realistic flight simulation environment and this interview confirmed in my mind that Prepar3D is trying to achieve the same goal Thank you to LM for perpetuating the legacy and growth of flight simming Can't wait for even bigger better and faster things to come from LM Prepar3D

FSX TO PREPAR3D MIGRATION TOOL
hi Jim I understand your position thank you for your response i just hope that aviation technologies do port over some of the more popular releases to p3d soon and for a reasonable price for academic version cheers Bo
-
FSX TO PREPAR3D MIGRATION TOOL
Hi Jim Can you be kind to create an academic version of you fligh1 mustang installer for p3d I will gladly ( as I am sure most simmers as well ) pay the upgrade price - Just like ifly 737 and many other non flight1 wraped products I own almost all of your products and if you can create installers to port them over to p3d I would pay the upgrade price to move all my flight1 products to p3d to support you and the future of flight simming FSX is a great "dead" platform - stil usable and good but simply not the future of flight simming I just can't see myself buying any new projects from flight1 until you guys embrace academic and commercial versions of products geared towards p3d - granted I am a small fish in a big pond and you simply don't care ( but I have been in this community for 10 years and my loyalty will continue as long as we progress into the future) Excuse my rant, but I wanted to voice my opinion Bo

Rudder Hard Left
Did you delete all the assignments in saitek under the options settings in p3d It behaves like Fsx and randomly assigns actions when new devices are attached That's what most likely is happening
