  5. Holy Sh###t! :( Simply/Incredibly UNBELIEVABLEFantastic Job PMDGi have been around these forums for a while and this looks like you set a NEW standard of simulation achievement :( :( B)
  6. this is a terrible policyI just stumbled on this topic, about a month or so ago I purchased from BB their superbug for fsxI have not installed it yet, but with this new revelation of NO support I will return it back to the storenowhere on the box does it say that you get absolutely no supportthis is a harandous policyI will buy nothing from VRS from now onthis reminds me of Ariane 737 where they try to nickel and dime you for every little thingbad business model
  7. i have the same problemi rebuilt the fsx.cfg file and now slowly adding tweaks and the blurries are improvedi also would like to hear some ideas and suggestionsmy system is new: i7-980x @ 4.1Mghz, 12G Ram on Win7 x64
  8. installed it yesterday in FSX Vista 64bitflew few closed circuitsthe plane is very smooththe vc is beautiful and great with track-irthe g1000 panel is very nice too - not fully functional but for the most part very inclusivea must get - you wont be disappointed (this plane can fly in any weather and also includes the Amphibian version - nice for water landings)Bo
  9. Al,the VNAV does not work properlyif you program fmc preflight then VNAV works as long as there are no other changes in flightif you change inflight (mid-flight) data in the fmc then the vnav does NOT respect the specific restraints - ie expect FL240 at TMC(waypoint in the fmc - depending on what your flight plan in fmc is or if it was changed)just try it out on your next flight and report your findingsBo
  10. thanks for the infothis is a must have for FSX - i have been waiting for a long time for Lionheart to finish this for fsxthey are a great company - highly recommendedBo
  11. i have been waiting a long time for this beauty hope it comes out soonBo
  12. its time for me to voice my opinionoverall Ariane 737 is a below average product (by the way i have owned and used 2 of their products 737-600 fof FS9 and 737-900 X1 for FSX)reasons (my personal experiences only)1. activation process is very cumbersome and long2. i could only activate my product ONCE, i have tried to activate them after i upgraded my hard drive and computer but was told to pay L20(about$40), so i dont believe that others can activate the product after computer upgrade or migration3. their 737-900 X1 was very buggy and was not fluid with lots of problems so they fixed the problems and renamed the plane as ver X2 AND charged a FULL price for it again and did not give any upgrade consideration or discount - so be careful with their future products 4. the product has a lot of eye candy - but thats about it5. their website is absolutely and totally confusing - they do not list the specifications of the 737 but claim to have everything working which is not the case6. their FMS was mostly unusable, could only be used for very basic navigation -6a. you can not input any sid or stars or waypoints that are not in their database, the VNAV does not work, you cannot put any constraints for reaching specific flight levels and speeds (as per ATC instructions etc), the FIX does not work, the weights and degrade dont work for me, you can not alter your flight plan in flight - it crashes7. their HUD is very primitive and not emulated well8. they have NO support, their email system is poor and they dont respond to your questions or requests and simply tell you to read their manual better9. they dont have a forum and rely on a volunteer simmer to host it for them, the problem with that is Ariane tells the administrator of the forum to delete the posts that they feel are negative (i have personally seen at least 5 posts removed - or disappear from the forum) i can go on for a lot longer, but i will stop herethis is simply my opinion, and Bob please do not reply to this trying to defend or justify Ariane postion - it is only my evaluation of the product (i am sure i am not alone)Bo
  13. Ryan, this was somewhat cruel and funny joke by mesorryBo
  14. its definitely an A320pmdg and airliner xp probably combined forces when the forum on airliner xp suddenly ceased functioning in 2/07airliner xp have been working on A320 for 4 years nowi will bet you that pmdg and airliner xp combined teams to expedite final productiongo to airlinerxp.com and see the VC pictures - its truly amazing and Ryan Maziarz stated that the new product has an incredible VCso this is my speculative guessi hope it is too!!!Bo
  15. >Allso from here in the Netherlands.Got the most products of>PMDG,but if I look what I have to pay for this MD11 then I>think this is WAY to far if we gonna pay these prices for>products!!!>This is NOT fun anymore.I hope developers will be more looking>at members of our community who cannot pay those PRICES.I am>NOT saying that the affort they put into this MD11 is not>worth the price, but still..................Bill and>Michael, hope you consider this for those who cannot pay this>prices. Not for me personely I can pay it dont worry, but I know>LOTS of members who CANNOT!!!>as we say in the old country"don't play with toys that you can not afford to play with"and don't b**ch about itenough saidBoPS: PMDG team - my compliments to a great product
  16. this time the servers are very very slowi am surprised unless they are putting a limit on the download speedbut slowly downloadingwill probably take hoursBo
  17. hey i am very impressedonly 59 euro for fsx version thats a truly great pricebut where is the download linkis it here yet - i am somewhat confusedBo
  18. >"....Plus you just don't know who is behind the company they>are trying to keep their identity secret for some reason and>wont reveal to you their team or beta team.">>Do a search here at Avsim for Ariane or Peter Tishma and many>of your questions will be answered.>>Tech support has always been an issue with Ariane as they take>any comments such as 'how do you do this?' or 'I can't get>that to work' as an insult and/or attack and may well ban>you...!>>"You pays your money - you takes your choice.">>Toni.>>I do remember the controversy and issues associated with Peter Tishma, but it is more tortuous and perplexed because now there are these support blokes named just Ed and Bob (and occasionally and interchangeably they used the same screen name in "their" forum) but they never reveal who in fact they are or for that matter who the team is. Just very fishy if you ask me. It is a shame however, since their 737 has potential to be one of the more premier aircraft in our flightsim community - but not in this century.Bo
  19. I can attest to the experience above.Their product is relatively good but definitely NOT complete. There is a lot of eye candy and thats about it.Their FMS is not complete and not all pages are functional. They have no failure simulation system. They are no where close to functionality of PMDG or LevelD.The worst problem however is their terrible activation scheme. You can only do it once, if your system fails or you upgrade then you have to pay them $20 to re-activate each time. They are not friendly, they do not have their own website (they piggyback from a simmer who decided himself to create a support forum but they tell him what can be or cannot be written or expressed) , and they think they are doing you a favor when you ask for support.Their documentation is terrible unless you want to buy their book which is $150 (which i do not own)If you buy their program on disk then they want to charge you an extra $25 to purchase updates and would not allow you to download on line. Also they just upgraded to their 737 to X2 and stated that its much better than the X1 but gave no specifics except to state that its a "lot faster" and new "sound engine" and charge you a full price of new $160 - no courtesy for previous customers. All in all majority of people are correct to state that this company should be avoided. Plus you just don't know who is behind the company they are trying to keep their identity secret for some reason and wont reveal to you their team or beta team.Just avoid them unless you have a lot of money to spend.Just my 02centsBo
  20. >The FSX interface for the GoFlight MCPPro (and EFIS) is>available at http://www.flightsimlabs.com/Home.aspx >>Lefteris Kalamaras who did the FS9 version when he was with>PMDG now has his own site.>>Claudewhat happened to Lefteris?is he no longer with PMDG?did I miss something?just curious - thats allBo
