P3d 4.2

Featured Replies

I see a lot of threads on the new version.  I am going to need this for when FSL releases their fix.  I was wondering if there is a step by step guide for installing 4.2 so I don't lose any of my scenery, AS, ORBX, etc. without having to do a complete refresh.  Can someone point me in the right direction?

Done.

FYI, the updated version of the FSL does not need 4.2 to run. It will run just fine on 4.1 when it is released.

Really?  I was under the impression that it will only work on 4.2 and that is why the fix was delayed.  With that being said, if it works on 4.1, what are the benefits of going to 4.2?  Of everything I have read, it looks like it was improvements to VR and helicopter fixes.. Basically nothing that would benefit me with flying tubeliners in the US.  I could be wrong though.

Dan is correct; the next version of the FSL A320X for P3Dv4 will run on 4.1 as well as 4.2.
