February 18, 20188 yr Good evening, Performed my first flight yesterday and noticed that the brake accumulator pressure gauge does not read when I turn on the number 4 hydraulic aux pump. I loaded default panel state and this had no effect. I'm using P3Dv4.1 on Windows 10. VR Todd Hontz ATP MEL Commercial SEL B-747, BE-300, BE-400, DHC8, ERJ 170/190, MU-300 C-17A Globemaster III
February 18, 20188 yr Hi. I can confirm this behavior after applying the Hotfix for P3Dv4.2 (under Windows 10) Brake Accu shows 0 psi and can't be charged with neither System #4 Hydraulic Pump. Brakes work normaly. Brake Source Light next to it is going OFF as it should with Systems pressurized. Everything else works like a charm. Have a nice Sunday, Benni

It would be the most effective way for the support team to investigate on that issue. Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. St Exupéry, Terre des hommes.
February 19, 20188 yr Author It appears there are enough people experiencing this, so I'll submit a ticket. VR Todd ATP MEL Commercial SEL B-747, BE-300, BE-400, DHC8, ERJ 170/190, MU-300 C-17A Globemaster III
February 20, 20188 yr Commercial Member Gents, It will get fixed upon release of the 748. We changed the animation process and it needs updated dlls which were not part of the "4.2 compatiblity" package. For now, it is a D item deferral so you can safely operate with it that way until mid june. Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com

Wait does it mean a release of the 748 mid june? (Just kidding, I know your policy! ) Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. St Exupéry, Terre des hommes.

February 20, 20188 yr Just be aware that you won't get brake accumulator indication unless the Ground Service Bus is powered. The Ground Service Bus is powered either by AC #1, or if Ext Power or APU power is available (if the Ground Service Bus switch has been pushed at cabin door Left 2). It won't work on Standby Power alone. Some aircraft are fitted with Towing Busses. This can also power the gauge. The BRAKE SOURCE light is a little less fussy.
