Fair enough.  It would be nice if we could press a button and out comes an Android version, but unfortunately app development is way more complex than that.

Where would one go for charts i was under the impression the charts came in the drop box

Dropbox is only for storage, you need to find PDF charts on the web than download and save in the Dropbox  folder for use in the app.
