Hello.

I am about to buy GoFlights latest autopilot, and would like to know if it handles 3rd party aircraft?

I would like to use it with my Twin Otter and wondered if this would be possible?
Is there anybody using the autopilot with different aircraft?

Help would be much appreciated.

Hi.

I am new to the site and hope that I am in the right section?

I intend to buy a GoFlight PCP PRO autopilot and would like to know if 3rd party aircraft can be used with it?
I fly a Twin Otter and need to know if this would be ok?

Does anybody have experience flying 3rd party aircraft with this Autopilot?

Many thanks,

Tony UK

Which twin otter ?

If the addon uses the default auto pilot code it will work, if not you will need to use lua scripts, Fsuipc  or the Goflight Interface tool from pollypot software.

Not sure that a Boeing 737 MCP is the best choice for a twin otter though.

I have the RP48.  It has four dials and eight push buttons.  Also it comes with cut-outable magnets.  It's a good substitute if you don't want to spend that much.

Hi Tony, welcome to Avsim.

I have the VR insight M panel auto pilot and can confirm that everything works in the 3rd party Otter .

You should be good to go with Go flight as the otter accepts basic default auto pilot input
