It’s entirely possible that one of “their” Freedom Fighter groups tossed chlorine or whatever out of a helicopter, onto one of “our” Freedom Fighter groups. The place is filled with Freedom Fighter groups, any of which can be bought with arms and promises.

The fact that the Western media must then be fed Fake News to get a response does not mean there isn’t a humanitarian crisis of gargantuan proportions in Syria. Pity the poor Kurds, who don’t have a proper PR department and are hunted and slaughtered in 5 different countries, for being, well, Kurdish.

I was so hoping the term WMD would not turn up here. You will recall what happened the last time WMD was used as the propaganda to ruin a country for generations? And it turned out to be false.

You always – always – have to follow the money trail to make any sense at all of the madness. Time to dig out that old copy of Catch 22 again. If you have never read it, now's a good time.

As far as I know, the rebels don't have aircraft. Could you point to any information hinting they have acquired some?

  1. In this completely surrounded city, where are they keeping such craft?
  2. Where are they supposedly producing this gas?
  3. If it came from elsewhere, where is it now, and why didn't the rebels simply attack the Syrian troops.
  4. Why did the rebels immediately surrender after the attack.....

It goes on and on.

Many extremely unlikely things could be possible, but I still wont waste much breath waiting for my dogs to abruptly go bald.

Possible and likely are not the same, and there are much simpler explanations that don't require complex strings of maybes that much more easily conform to the known circumstances/ history.

  1. Syria is known to have and has admitted to having chemical weapons.
  2. They have been accused multiple times by multiple countries, based on gathered facts on the ground, of using them against the rebels, Just like Saddam did against the Kurds.
  3. All known facts at this juncture point to them having been used against the Douma rebels, forcing them to surrender, and saving the Syrian army a long period of nasty street fighting.
  4. Despite claims it didn't happen at all, bodies are being smuggled out as we speak, for examination.......

The current Middle East wars are about saving the US dollar (Petrodollar/Reserve Currency) from collapse.

US General Wesley Clark explained the plan years ago in this video.

It's all about the Reserve Currency...
The attack on Pearl Harbor was no surprise nor was 911.
A deal was made, let the attack happen on Pearl Harbor, the USA would enter warII, and the UK would hand over the Reserve Currency to the USA.
Today, if the USA loses the Petrodollar/Reserve currency status, the US economy may fail.
The nation controlling the world Currency, controls all other nations.  If you're not compliant, economic sanctions will follow.
USA is losing the Reserve currency/Petrodollar battle and is now using the military, to enforce it.
If a oil rich nation turns away from using US dollars to trade its oil, it's sanctioned, regime changed, or attacked.
Ex; Iraq, Libya, Syria (in progress), Venezuela (in progress) and then Iran.

The Petro-yuan just started (late March 2018) and this is a game changer.
Other nations can now trade oil using the Petro-yuan, bypassing the US Petrodollar.
The Petro-yuan is the newest weapon for the China-Russia-Iran anti-USD alliance.

John Kerry Predicts Death of US Dollar as World's Reserve Currency

Those who control the "money", control you.
All Western nations economies are controlled by Central banks, and governments have very little control over them.
The Federal Reserve is a private bank.  So who controls the Western Politicians?  Then Banking cabal (The Money Masters).

The chemical attack in Syria (Douma) was a false flag staged by the white helmets (Al Qaeda).
ISIS and Al Qaeda are a creation of the Mossad and CIA and the white helmets work for the them.
The "evidence" largely relied on video clips and photos shared on social media, provided by the Western-funded White Helmets.
The Mossad/CIA's 911 false flag was used to sway public opinion to fight terrorism and justify these perpetual wars.
Purpose:
a).  To regime change any elected government, failing to sell their oil for US dollars.
b).  To assist Israel's interestes in the area by removing Israel's perceived enemies.

Russia and the CIA/MI6/Mossad have been fighting a proxy war through "ISIS" for years now.
Russia and the Syrian Army fight "ISIS", while the CIA/MI6/Mossad fund "ISIS" to topple Assad.
Why would Assad gas children and women when he's almost won the war?
To stir international outrage and risk being bombed yet again?
Why not use chemical weapons on "ISIS", his enemy?
No, Assad uses chemical weapons on women and children.  <---Fake news.
Israel and USA benefit from these Chemical attacks, not Assad.

MUST WATCH
Here's a tin foil hat conspiracy theorist on the subject.
Virginia State Senator Richard Black discusses the latest "chemical attack" in Syria as a false flag.

Here's another tin foil hat conspiracy theorist.
Assad had no reason to launch chem attack, unlike those who want US involvement - Ron Paul

Free press in the West is long gone, and is truly fake news (Propaganda).
Western media is an extension of the CIA used to sway public opinion (Operation Mockingbird).
The truth is....all governments use propaganda on their people.
In the Western media, China, Russia, Iran, are always made out to be the bogie man.
It's no coincidence that all Hollywood movies always portray Russia and China as evil.
Why?  It's programming at an early age to hate these nations.
Anderson Cooper worked for the CIA.....Really?

Question everything you read, see or hear and do your own research.
Don't trust one word I said here today.
The truth will not come to you, you must search for it yourself.

The Brain is a decoder of information and data.
The information you read, hear, see forms your perception of reality.
Your reality of the world and history is based on information your brain has decoded.
Those who control information, control your perception of reality.
Anger, fear, hated are emotions that come from your perception of reality.
If you control a person's emotions, and perception of the truth, you control that person.

Who forms your reality?
Do you accept the information you're receiving as absolute truth?
Does the information you read, make sense?

OMG...........

This boys name is Omar Daqneesh, and the rescue was actually filmed.

I note that while you present carefully presented "news" you omit other relevant facts, such that his ten year old brother died from his injuries in this attack. https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/aleppos-children/brother-omran-daqneesh-boy-who-became-symbol-syria-s-suffering-n635121

The only other information came while the father was in the hands of (wait for it) Syrian government media, where the he now claimed to be a supporter of the regime, and said his sons injuries had been exploited by the rebels. He never however denied those injuries or the death of his other child.

Since we like videos, I'll include a more complete one.

I have NOTHING more to say on this subject after this, as I'm pretty disgusted right now.

So your counteroffer is a Russian propaganda network and a conspiracy website? Got it. At least my fellow simmers are a diverse group!

Quote

RT (formerly Russia Today) is a Russian international television network funded by the Russian government.[5][6] It operates cable and satellite television channels directed to audiences outside of Russia, as well as providing Internet content in various languages, including English, Spanish and Russian.

RT International, based in Moscow, presents around-the-clock news bulletins, documentaries, talk shows, debates, sports news, and cultural programmes that it says provide "a Russian viewpoint on major global events".[3] RT operates as a multilingual service with conventional channels in three languages: the original English-language channel was launched in 2005, the Arabic-language channel in 2007, and the Spanish-language channel in 2009. RT America (since 2010),[7] and RT UK (since 2014) offer some locally based content for those countries. It was announced that in December 2017, a French-language channel will be launched.

RT is a brand of "TV-Novosti", an "autonomous non-profit organization", founded by the Russian news agency, RIA Novosti, on 6 April 2005.[1][8] During the economic crisis in December 2008, the Russian government, headed by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, included ANO "TV-Novosti" on its list of core organizations of strategic importance of Russia.[9][10][11]

RT has been frequently described as a propaganda outlet for the Russian government[12][13][14] and its foreign policy.[12][14][15][16][17][18] RT has also been accused of spreading disinformation[18][19][20] by news reporters,[21][22] including some former RT reporters.[23][24][25] The United Kingdom media regulator, Ofcom, has repeatedly found RT to have breached rules on impartiality and of broadcasting "materially misleading" content.[26][27][28][29] On 13 November 2017, RT America officially registered as a "foreign agent" with the United States Department of Justice under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. Under the act, RT will be required to disclose financial information.[30]

What Really Happened (tagline "Putting America First, Second, And Third!") is a website that purports to tell you (what else?) "what really happened." They promote all sorts of conspiracy theories, especially 9/11 conspiracy theories, Jewish banker conspiracies, the Pearl Harbor conspiracy theory, global warming conspiracy theories, and various types of pseudohistory and survivalism. Interestingly, they have sections debunking creationism and birtherism (though they put their own spin on it by positing an out-of-wedlock birth rather than the "born in Kenya" theory). They also have an associated podcast and wiki. So, in essence, it's a poor man's Infowars.

The website's proprietor, Michael Rivero, claims to have started his website and radio show after questioning what really happened to Vince Foster, claiming that his suicide seemed like something he saw out of the movie special effects industry, which he works in. Until recently the podcast was on shortwave radio, as well as being carried by the Genesis Communications Network.

Isn’t Youtube the most amazing vehicle? Where else would you be able to see Putin pitch his view on the Middle East – just amazing.

Those who are older than the internet grew up with ideas firmly fixed by the filtered information we were fed. What shapes the beliefs of today’s kids, other than the Echo Chamber of their chosen brand of social media? One hopes they get enough from all sides to be able to make good choices. And that they would take the time to be informed.

Cool that AVSIM has let this thread run, opening windows as it does, in all directions.

Russia supplies most of the gas to Europe at the moment. Qatar had plans for a pipeline through Syria to bring gas into Europe. Assad refused permission to build the pipeline as it is a Russian ally. Iran also has plans to build a similar pipeline to Europe to sell its gas to the continent. This has Russian approval because Russia is allied to Iran and their gas supply is less than Qatar so they wouldn't be as bigger competitor. The US is allied with Qatar where it has a military base. It wants the pipeline to come from Qatar so it's allies can compete with Russia in the European gas market. All this has led to the proxy war in Syria. The west want to remove Assad and replace him with a leader who will allow the Qatar pipeline rather than Iran's

6 months ago ISIS where selling oil through the back door to Turkey illegally, did the USA, UK or France care, not a jolt.  Did they try and stop them?? Absolutely not, neither did the Turks and it was helping to finance Isis.

Did any of the main stream media apologise for inaccuratly running the story of the Turkish kid placed in the sea to look more appealing, nope.  Did any of the media pick up on the fact his dad put him on a dingy with no life jacket in order to get to Germany or England for free dental care, nope.

I don't trust the daily mail one bit.

It's all as rotten as stinky fish. And the public are suckers for it.

I guess if one throws around enough allegations, tailored with omissions of relevant details and leavened with a barbs of truth, somebody will eventually swallow the whole thing.

In the meanwhile, I would note that smuggling is pretty much a way of life in certain areas of Syria.

Isis-Turkey, Syria-Iraq Iran/Turkey Iraq-Iran and further afield, North Korea/China/ etc. Its endless. You might as well ask why Somali pirates still exist in the modern world, and the answer is.... it's complicated, and not a TV show where you guiltlessly blow crap up and it all ends happily in 60 minutes.

Staunching the flow is up to whoever controls a given border, and often the borders are pretty much chaos in the middle east and elsewhere. If the countries in question have dubious succes, what are a few thousand US troops that have other priorities supposed to do, when we are honestly more interested in getting the heck out of there than putting more boots on the ground?

Even Assad/Russia's wild bombing took years to slow the tide, and that required Nato/Iraq to crush things from the other end for it to work. I would point out that Nato would have been handed its head for trying anything even remotely as indiscriminately bloodthirsty as what Syria/Russia did.

As for the turkish child, I am left to assume you mean  Aylan Kurdi, and again your information is carefully truncated. You ignore for instance the many dead bodies that wash up on those beaches from failed crossings, a reality that made the story completely plausible until the deception was found. A deception that despite your claim was duly noted by numerous news sources.

Next?

A full "press conference" Russian style with Putin? Not in your lifetime...

Tell you what: Al Jazeera is back after they were briefly strangled by the Gulf states embargo on Qatar:

If by full press conference, you mean where the man bloviates for hours at a time because nobody has the power to stop him..... (seems to be a "thing" in police states) Then no. Not even our own leaders get that privilege.

If you mean where he gets to reveal his views on this or that subject at a length not designed to promote abrupt onset narcolepsy, then dozens of examples are just a search away.

Or, you can simply watch a nearly 4 hour ramble on Youtube. Bring lots of Covfefe.

This is probably a good candidate for what's known as a Formal Fallacy

You put some more or less truthful things together, then tie it up with sudden leap of dubious logic at the end in the hope that some fish poor fish swallows the whole thing.

Since you seem to like to ask for proof, this would be a good place to present yours.
