Oh my god, that site is amazing!!! I never knew about that, so I'm glad I opened this thread. I just started playing with it, but couldn't figure out how to download flightplans for specific aircraft/airlines. I'll keep trying though...Thanks, now I'm addicted :)

The flightplan is listed, all I do is highlight it drop it in to the flightplan box in FSbuild and build it. I only had one hiccup so far. On a Virgin Air 744 flight from Orlando to Gatwick it sent me over to spain then back over to US. Problem was one waypoint. Removed it and all was good!! Note if the FP is more than 1 line in Flightware you will have to copy 1 line at a time!!

Thanks

Flightaware is great for flights originating or ending at FAA controlled airports. For international flights I use either the schedules derived from airline web sites or reports generated from the AI schedules of Ultimate Traffic 2, the latter based on real world schedules.I then use FSBuild with charts or its autorouting or combination.

Actually, JAL flies LAS-LAX; or did a few months ago when I last flew it.

I exclusively fly real-life timetables as well and I am exactly in the same boat.I don't want to advertize here, but I fly for the Virtual Pilots Association (virtualpilots.org) and 'we' fly only real routes with a very nice 'route finder' there where only real timetables are posted from OAG and Amadeus. It is more fun than with any VA, because you're not restricted to fly for one airline, but you fly them all. And it is pretty realistic, too, as every PIREP is getting validated manually. I can only recommend it for anyone how likes to fly according to real timetables.

Hey, thanks for the "ad"...I will definitely check it out..

Thanks folks for the "flightaware" link.No matter how long you implement FS, there seems to always be one more utility one has overlooked. This was ONE of mine. Thanks again.RTH

Great site, I'm one also who hadn't been aware of this site and thanks also for the suggestion on how to put the flight plan into FS.BF
