RealAir Duke B60 Coming To v4

Recommended Posts

Thanks Sean for making the the Piston Duke available for P3D. Now I can enjoy both Turbine and Piston Duke's along with the Legacy--three aircraft I dearly missed after leaving FSX for P3D.

I really hope these are available to purchase again one day. Would love to get hold of these.

Fselite hinted that a return to selling these could be in the horizon.

I hope that happens!

Where did you read that a return to selling could be on the horizon?  I didn't read that at all from their little news snippet.

I'd classify what I read as more hopeful speculation than anything.

Yes it’s probably this.

The article mentioned reaching out to Sean to see if a return was on the cards. But nothing more.

On the bright side, in today’s follow up article he does mention that he’s looking at some new “solo” projects, although it was confirmed that RaelAir as it existed is not coming back.

Does anyone know if the cabin/panel lights were fixed with the release of the P3Dv4 installer?  It was probably a 64bit issue.  I haven't downloaded the update yet, but I guess I'll go ahead and do that.  Thanks!!

I'm not at my sim, but I'm pretty sure they were fixed.

I downloaded the v4 installer and it appears that the cabin and cockpit lighting issue is still there.  I haven't rebooted since I installed, maybe I'll do that to see if anything changes.

Hmm, I could have sworn blind the last time I flew the Duke the lights worked. Clearly I was wrong, sorry. Actually, in my defence, I was referring to the panel lighting, which I think you referred to in your post. Is this not working?

The panel lighting is working, but not the cabin/cockpit lights but I think the panel light switch actually turns on the cabin/cockpit lights.  It's not a big deal, but inop switches messes with my OCD 😉

I've just had to re-install the Duke V2 using the new installer, but I'm getting an initialisation error from FSX:SE re winglets. Has anybody seen this … and more importantly has anyone got a fix for my favourite bird !
