Using Navigraph Charts with XP11...

Featured Replies

I would like to know if the Navigraph Desktop Charts application can be connected with XP11, using SimLink, through a network, working as a moving map ?

Any of you using it or with info on the subject ?

Thx!

Yes, it can! You have inclusive one plugin called Avitab that already as Navigrahp integration, and works with several planes including the Zibo mod!

Yes, you can use Navigraph Charts with the moving map feature on a separate machine in the same network, as long as SimLink is running on the X-Plane machine. You can also use the Charts app on a Tablet or Phone.

It's a great way of flying with all your Charts set up before Start Up.  I'll always switch to this when i'm doubting EFB.

Indeed!

Bought the monthly subscription, just to try and see if I like it, and also because I do not use IFR in sims that often, but first experiences were just great.

I am running it with simlink standalone on my XP11 rig, and open Charts Cloud on a laptop. Actually the way it works I do not even have to be in the same network since the communication goes all through the "Cloud" :-)

Enjoying every bit !

I have installed and reinstalled the desktop app on my PC and even though I am sitting at the gate at KDFW it says my plane is out of the bounds of the map.  I can access Avitab INSIDE the cockpit on the in plane app and it works fine and shows my location and moving map.  Is there another plug in or something I need to fix this?  Thanks!

I figured it out.  The app was not pointing to the correct folder.

I wish Navigraph would release these on a monthly cycle like Jeppesen does. Since they don't offer monthly subscription anymore, only yearly now. Such a shame since I really like Navigraph's interface and layout, however I don't need to have the latest charts when I fly. Not much changes occur in a month at airports to make it worthwhile. I usually update my navigraph cycles every 6months to a year. So this is why I wish they would allow us to purchase this and keep the entire charts on a monthly basis.
