A couple of clues for November 24th flight.

1: The plane I'm going to use.

2: .....Later. 😎

Suggested aircraft.

C172.

Cherokee

American Champ Citabria etc.

Anything along these lines. Try not to pick anything that strains at the leash!

Tip. Not anything with a GTN 750 shoehorned in. See picture 1, post 2 for clue. 😎

OK.. no C182..

Bert

The local FBO has a couple of lightly-used rentals. These are 1960s vintage planes. Definitely no GTN 750s. The fellow said something about installing the Lockheed "Bush" package.

Lockheed "Bush"-package? Maybe it fits my F-104 as well. I'll send them an E-Mail, still time to fit it ....

Excellent! This flight is shaping up to be as silly as I imagined.

In the spirit of fun, we'll bring that fearless pilot Snoopy to the event – in the form of the 1955 Navion once owned by Charles Schulz of Peanuts fame.

This is the Ryan Navion B, a terrific freeware modeled by the LDR team that includes our teammate Roman Stoviak. Add the splendid "Snoopy" livery by our teammate Ron Attwood. The Navion aircraft is available at the Sim-Outhouse library and the Snoopy N30CB paint is available at the AVSIM library.
