I saw a screenshot on the screenshot forum that showed someone with a tug hooked up to the aircraft and a marshaller pushing the aircraft back...I have done several pushbacks at TNCM and never had a tug attach to my aircraft...am I missing something?? Can anyone else see this too?

I think that was Poskys 737 series with their integrated tug.Bill

I thought this was something that would be included in certain airports.I just wish the baggage carts wouldn't flicker in and out on me.

By the way, something incredibly cool that happened. I had airport vehicles to max, and I started to taxi out with the CRJ. I got an order to hold my taxi from the ATC. I don't see anything, but like I said in my other reply, things have blinked in and out on me at times. So I stop on a dime, and as soon as I do, a little passenger van goes zipping past my plane and drives off towards the far side of the airport, then I was given permission to resume my taxi.I just thought that was a really cool little feature.

Yes, they exist. Turn airport groudn vehicles up in the traffic settings and start your flight at a GATE type parking spot. When you push back the tug in front of that parking spot should push you back.

Humm, doesn't work for me either. With Airport Vehicels set to High no pushback tugs appear at GATED or any other parking spots in TNCM.Any other suggestions?-Thad

I don't think we have the full setting dialogs, since all we have for traffic is a single slider. (And on my system that slider won't even move.) What entry in the config file would correspond to airport ground vehicles? I don't see any tugs in front of parking spots."Let me help you out. Sounds like you arent getting into the custom settings... in the lower part of the screen, you click "Custom" or "Customize" (cant remember which one it is), and that will give you all the idividual sliders.

First, let me correct myself, earlier I said my airport vehicel setting was high but it was actually maximum.All my testing for the tug has been with the CRJ. I believe that the tug should show reguardless of the plane type at all the gated parking spots just like I always see the baggage loader and baggage cart at each gatted parking place. For some reason tugs don't show up infront of each gated parking place on my rig. I take it others are seeing the tugs, yes?-Thad

This is somthing that I was most looking forward to. I kinda figured you would have a new option in the ATC dialog that allowed you to request pushback with the ground crew along side of calling for Taxi clearance, but I see no tug or any option to pushback other than Shift+P. This is with Airport Ground Vehicles to the max. What gives?ET
