EDRM-Repaints on the FA50

Recommended Posts

As you might already be familiar with from the other aircraft, in this thread I'll be presenting my work on the Falcon.
All repaints can be downloaded at https://edrm-repaints.com/aircraft.php?id=fa50.

Before that I just gotta complain about this developer again, though. Their ignorance toward the repainting community is just staggering.
The Falcon is a prime example of this again. Not just turns a straight line on the texture into a shaky one as smooth as the surface of the Pacific Ocean on a windy day when viewed in sim (we're accustomed to that by now), but they have seriously mapped both outbord engines to one piece of texture!
This is a new height of incompetence which makes every livery that has anything written on those two engines impossible to recreat. (One engine would always be mirrored)
As a result of that, I have to apologize in advance to the french simmers looking forward to their Naval Aviation Falcon 50s. I've found out that the one with the registration 78 has been flying without the MARINE mark on the engines since 2017, which at least let's me paint you one version. It's still missing for this iconic livery.

Anyways, now that I've vented a bit, I'll be back to the drawing board and the repaint should be available later on. 🙂

Thank You, here's the first. 🙂

As a little apology for the rather "nude" look of this specific FA50, I've dressed the pilots in French Navy Overalls.
(As far as that was possible without model changes)

A good texture to be made not too complex plus the fairing paintkit is missing part so the same would not be good because the 2 and 3 motor are mirrored the same way the winglets! some repintor would have the solution to this problem?

Thank You all!

@cmtemariohenrique That problem, as reffered to in the first post of the thread, is a glaring sign of stupidity on Carenado's part. Unfortunately it can only be corrected by the model designer because for that, the source files are needed.

@Airway88 Here's your first West-European one 😉
The same livery but registered in Luxembourg and without any stickers:

Your words are also in accordance with my outrage at these grotesque

failures! Let's hope and who knows they will soon make some updates not only on the engines

but also on the Winglets! let's wait for news.

did a more work could get better quality

Great looking repaint, I must say.
There's indeed a lot I've personally had to let go because of text on the engines.

Haven't worked with the winglets myself but I can imagine the same mistake.
It's incredible how such a successful developer can make such amateurish mistakes.

It's not a mistake, they just don't care...

I wouldn't be too sure about this.

Anyways, let's do some more government jets. This one might look like Aeroflot, but it's 17402 of the Força Aérea Portuguesa.

And the last one for now: The meticulously clean parliament jet of Switzerland.
