Michael, I've flown a lot around KSFO-KSAN-KLAS, MSEv3 and FPS with FSL is no trouble at all, just make sure to have all PR below Orbx KSAN and you get there PR and Auto GEN same with KLAS.

I also bought MSE  Spain and did my first flight from Orbx LEBB to LEAL. WoW, both come with there PR area's and Auto Gen. I found the combo of autogen area around airports and PR when above 5000ft work fantastically well. The flight from LEBB to LEAL was breathtaking so tonight LEAL to another great airport with custom PR and Autogen, LEMG.

LEBL also have the same but come with a huge area. After KSFO-KSAN-KLAS flights. All my airport in Spain now with MSE will make an amazing flight.

LEBB-LEBL-LEAL-LEMG-LEMG

Thanks David. Great stuff here. I will look into it. But still.

My concern was the differentcies about leaving autogen at normal vs off specific with FTX NCA AND FTXSCA (with MCE offcause)

Do you have it off?

Thanks Michael Moe

Working with FTXSCA is a nightmare, it's really known for how hard it is to run, I do own it, but it's in the bin, with MSE SCAL I see no need for it at all with FSL.

I think MSE has its place and it the right area's it's by far the best, but it's very selective to where for me, its barren desert and sun-baked areas. But Spain IMO works a treat, even if it has greenery also. Just finished LEAL to LEMG.

OLC eat your heart out :)

I like to keep it locked at 33 because I still find it keeps photo scenery crisp, especially with 16x aniso scenery, out to the horizon.  I did have to remove my New Mexico photo real scenery, my MSE scenery, because it was taking to much room for me to get 4.5 installed, but I have New Mexico and a wide swath of West Texas in my Xplane11 photo scenery if I want to fly over it.

Since you have an i7 7700K you can turn off Turbo Boost in your BIOS.  I did and was amazed how much it made MSE more crisp and clear.  I could almost see the potholes in the road.  This worked for me and a couple of others in the forums have indicated it worked for them too.  Of course, anyone with an i5 cannot do this and will have to find another solution like locking the FPS.
