July 25, 20196 yr Doesn't matter whether I install 2.400.xx or 2.5.00 versions of Garmin trainer, when I select a folder in C\Programs (x86)\Garmin\ .... it always complains about not finding the path. I'v tried multiple installs. I have to abandon it I guess. I've been thru the flight1 forums, there were a few such posts but they always faded away with no resolve. I'll look for clues in the Reality forum. Jose Did all that, 5 times, different variations of trainers, none can find the path, wouldn't accept anything I gave it. I first uninstalled the older version GTN Complete version, then uninstalled Garmin trainers along with every folder associated. I then downloaded the Garmin 2.4 and let it install into default location. Then installed GTN complete from my F1 account. That worked for me. MSFS
July 26, 20196 yr Author So where did you point the GTN installer to when it asked to browse to the Garmin unit?? Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

It finally opened properly without the need to point to the trainer folder. You should not get any browse/download window if you follow my steps. MSFS
July 26, 20196 yr From the F1 forum: "As far as installation instructions, you must reinstall using the Flight1 Purchase Agent. After the installation ends, you must make sure that you have the latest Aviation PC Trainer v2.4.0.0 We suggest that you start the F1 GTN Config tool. If it points you to download and install the new PC Trainer, you must follow the instructions." MSFS
July 26, 20196 yr Author okay thanks for your help, I've done all that. I'll just wait 6 months and maybe thay will have another version, G'nite all Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's
July 26, 20196 yr I had to run the F1 'Flight purchase Agent' as Admin to install the GTN Complete, I downloaded (as requested) the Garmin trainer and install it. On reflection rather than installing the gamin trainer during the process it's better to uninstall the pervious version before hand. I didn't uninstall the old version of the GTN. There was an update for the purchase agent when I opened it before updating the GTN. bob
July 26, 20196 yr Author *RESOLVED Within the Purchase app was the problem. It kept telling me that the GTN had been downloaded, but I didn't notice that it tells you what has been downloaded. It was GTN 2.08 that had been downloaded. Then I noticed the "Delete" button and used it. Then tried again downloading 2.11 (which it did) it installed the 2.11 and then wanted me to download the Garmin Trainer (which I did) this time the 2.11 GTN matched up with the 2400 Trainer, and this time I didn't have to point the GTN to the Trainer folder. Stupid me. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's
