August 29, 20196 yr I have tried searching to see if it were already asked, but no such luck. Is there any plans on bringing support for an iPad App for us pilots who fly with iPad support? Would love to have this as an app, although I'm sure the code doesn't just hop over lol. I figured I'd ask the question, either way I am pleased with the program. Tyler Sexton
August 29, 20196 yr Certainly not a hop over. More a re-write using parts of LNM. Unlikely to happen soon (if). Same applies to an Android port. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
August 30, 20196 yr Check out the FltPlan Go app. Uses your home wifi to connect the simulator to the iPad. Its also a real life aviation app and is very robust. Here is a link to a four year old Avsim topic. No time right now to update the review, but it has just gotten better and better over the past 4 years. I don't fly without it! https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/471387-fltplan-go-app-for-ipad-way-cool/ Edited August 30, 20196 yr by fppilot Frank Patton Corsair 5000D Airflow Case; MSI B650 Tomahawk MOB; Ryzen 7 7800 X3D CPU; ASUS RTX 4080 Super; NZXT 360mm liquid cooler; Corsair Vengeance 64GB DDR5 4800 MHz RAM; RMX850X Gold PSU;; ASUS VG289 4K 27" Display; Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo, Crosswind 3's w/dampener. August 30, 20196 yr Is'nt it right that FltPlan is available only in NA? LittleNavMap on my IPad .. uhhh, take my money 🙂
August 30, 20196 yr Hi Folks, Yeah - I believe that’s the one caveat - it’s only available in North America - Garmin recently purchased the company - perhaps that’s changed ? Here’s a link to start: https://flttrack.fltplan.com/FltPlanInfo/FltPlan_Go-Android-iPad_Info.html Regards, Scott
August 30, 20196 yr Hi Folks, Yeah - I hear that - as this is the ONLY source of FREE georeferenced approach plates and taxi diagrams I know of... Honestly - I've been concerned that Garmin would stop this at some point as they don't like to do anything for free... Regards, Scott
May 20, 20215 yr I was looking up to see if LNM might be available as an app on the iOS someday, but I doubted it. This thread answered that. BUT...there *is* a way to use your iPad (or any tablet, really) for LNM. I use the spacedesk app on my iPad and a small piece of software for the PC to connect it to and it turns the iPad into a 2nd monitor. I then just simply drag the LNM program onto the iPad and maximize the window there. You're done! I was using spacedesk for the Mobile Companion App, which is another terrific add-on I recommend, as it basically takes many cockpit controls to a slick tabbed interface where you can quickly glance at and switch various functions like autopilot and frequencies. It also has a moving map handy. Just another tool I use to go along with LNM!
