September 1, 20196 yr Hello, I've got some ORBX issue with ORBX Base and LC Europe Here are 2 Screens from EDDL (Justsim) You can see that there are some issues with Landscape. Trees and some Buildings are placed in water (river) and some "cities" are merged with other landscape. Where is the Problem? In my scenery libary everything seems to be okay. ORBX starts below the last payware Add-on. Hope someone can help me. ORBX Base, LC Europe and Vector is installed - everything is up to date
September 1, 20196 yr If you installed their new ORBX Central for sure you are in trouble. Even with no migration of any ORBX products to a locations outside the sim, for some reason ORBX Central messes up everything and the result is your odd looking textures. Seems to me they are now blaming Lockheed Martin for problems they should surely avoid if they were able to beta test their new software with more detail or care. I'm too suffering from the same problem as you have and I've been patiently waiting for a solution from someone capable at ORBX. I strongly suggest posting your issue at the ORBX forums, where you could see you're not the only one that's been affected. I've stopped for now any new purchase of any ORBX product as to me it's clear their current software, I mean ORBX Central, is not reliable enough. September 1, 20196 yr I installed Central the day it came out and migrated a bunch of my products to outside of the sim including most of the FTX regions, Vector, Global textures, the Euro and NA LC as well as a few airports and the libraries of course. One big issue I had from it all was the FTX regions being returned to a default state from the very customized hundreds of now-deleted modified and deactivated ADE files due to addon scenery and custom work. The other and I do believe it's being worked on is the library insertion points doesn't seem to work properly. Still a good idea to check though that yours is set just to see if it helps make a difference for your issue. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

Cheers, Ed Okay but I'm still using FTX Central 3 because I already read about this issues. 1 hour ago, Dave_YVR said: I installed Central the day it came out and migrated a bunch of my products to outside of the sim including most of the FTX regions, Vector, Global textures, the Euro and NA LC as well as a few airports and the libraries of course. September 2, 20196 yr I want to echo what others have said above. I installed ORBX Central about four days ago and used it to update my Global Base package. Immediately I saw trees growing out of the runways and taxiways of my default airport. I'd never suffered this problem previously. I desperately tried to figure out what was going on -- to the point where I eventually had to completely delete and reinstall every flight-sim-related item on my entire SSD. But ORBX Central made it extremely difficult to succeed. It kept asking me to install the scenery into a Library folder but refused to create the correct Library folder when I clicked the "Create Library Folder" button. I ended up having to manually download and install "England" and "South Germany" outside of ORBX Central. The previous FTX 3 was far superior. Just because you had a problem (and to be honest , so did a lot of others) it doesn't mean that Orbx Central is a problem per se. I downloaded it and installed it in the week it was announced and nothing changed on my system. I migrated Global Vector to see what happened and the answer was nothing, everything worked as it should and subsequently the program has updated itself automatically. I have created a new library, where I put my "competition entry" and everything still works as it did before. You don't need to migrate if you don't want to. So you will not necessarily be "in trouble" at all. (In case you think I have only one product I have about 20 Regions/trees/buildings and about 25 airports). Thanks for your response but I don't know what I really can do beacause I use FTX 3 but issue appears. I also tried to enter ORBX products in scenery libaray manually but it doesn't help

ORBX Base, LC Europe and Vector is installed - everything is up to date Have you tried to deactivate the Justsim scenery in the Scenery Libray and check again ? If the problem is still here do a VERIFY in the OpenLC Eu product page of FTX central 3. If that doesn't work head to the OrbX support forum. September 2, 20196 yr Author I deactivate and activate the Justsim scenery but the issue still already exists. The OpenLC product is still veriflied.
September 2, 20196 yr Also by adjusting things manually in the scenery.cfg etc you could be semi creating the issue. FTX Central is particularly good at keeping itself in check assuming the library insertion points are correct which needs to be setup by the user. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
September 2, 20196 yr Author FTX entries are below the last Airport Add-On in this case FlyTampa EKCH. openLC are below FTX, this is also set in FTX Central settings In my scenery.cfg the first entries look like this, maybe here is a mistake: [General] Title=Prepar3D Scenery Description=Prepar3D Scenery Areas Data Clean_on_Exit=TRUE [Area.001] Title=Default Terrain Texture_ID=1 Local=Scenery\World Active=TRUE Required=TRUE Layer=1 [Area.002] Title=Default Scenery Local=Scenery\BASE Active=TRUE Required=TRUE Layer=2 [Area.003] Title=ORBX!VECTOR_AEC Local=ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_AEC Active=TRUE Required=FALSE Layer=3 [Area.004] Title=0000 Base Local=Scenery\0000 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE Layer=4 ... September 2, 20196 yr Author The trees in the river are gone. In ORBX forum s.o. gives me a solution by deactivating frozen water in winter in Global VECTOR
