September 5, 20196 yr Hi all, I decided to see if the Lagos airport payware worked in P3D V4 and to my surprise it seems to work (so far). I also discovered the scenery is almost 3gb but I can't see why that is. The textures are not that great so I am thinking it's photo scenery but the folder only says photo files are about 125kb each and there are only 5 files. I would like to know if anyone else has this scenery and if they took out the photo scenery to help and is it really that size. It's a big size for an airport I only fly to once in a while so I am not sure I want to use precious computer space for it. There are so many more airports to be released (I hope) and I don't want to miss out.
September 5, 20196 yr like eveything in lagos, its a probably a con and a scam. Edited September 5, 20196 yr by fluffyflops
September 5, 20196 yr Actually glad you posted about this scenery. With the lack of African sceneries, this Lagos scenery is a rare unicorn, and I've been wanting to have it. However I'm turned off of it every time I look at the screenshots. For 16 Euros it seems incredibly basic. For one, it doesn't even appear to include custom taxiway lines etc. What's your opinion on this scenery? is it up to par? September 5, 20196 yr At first I thought the topic was about installing Lago scenery into P3D. Anyone remember Lago? It was my first Honolulu airport scenery. Edited September 5, 20196 yr by BillS511
September 5, 20196 yr Yes it does work. I've installed it outside the sim and it performs well. There are some issues with ground textures at one or two parking positions at the fringe (p62 +p63), but otherwise it's all there. No problem cheers Peter

I wouldn't call it top notch but it's better than nothing. I don't fly there a lot but it's nice to have when I am in the mood. Looks like it should be freeware when compared to the sceneries nowadays. The million dollar question that I need answered is why is it a 3gb scenery?. If you are limited on computer space, I would not install it unless it's an airport that means something to you.
September 6, 20196 yr Default blue taxiway edge lights? Now that's something that I can do without in 2019. Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
September 6, 20196 yr Moderator If @bosflo is referring to this Lagos - the only one I can find - it's 1.4Gb, not 3Gb. https://secure.simmarket.com/livingfs-lagos-x-fsx-p3d.phtml Looking at the screenshots there are none close up of the main terminal buildings which always makes me suspicious. As for 'better than nothing' the default airport will still be available and if you have GSX/GSX2 then every jetway will be converted to animated SODE. The feature listing doesn't mention any jetways at all. If you have AIG then even the default airport will have plenty of Ai aircraft. No need for all those statics that do nothing.
