MS has yet to introduce new FS software than runs with all the features maxed on whatever the current hardware was at the time. If the demo ran horrible on your machine then i would suggest to you that your system is not as great as you think it is. No offense intended...just a simple statement of fact since none of your systme specs were included in the post. I have run both the demo and the beta and have encountered no serious problems. Craig

Wow, I really touched a nerve with this post. I'll have to say that after reading all the posts I'm getting a little more exited about FSX and made the first step in beginning to upgrade my system for it. I finally was forced to by a DVD drive! This is why you are not exited by the release of FSX. October 18 you will see the biggest @#%&$ session ever. Where's the patch, How come my frame rates are so LOW (my computer is only two years old). How could they release it unfinished? This is what you will surely hear from October 18 on and on. It seems that the more we get in terms of scenery improvements and eye candy and other things, the more people complain in this forum.(I dont mean you Dave, the original poster of this thread) I remember the good old days with FS95, people seemed much more friendly and willing to help one another. Now it seems there is nothing but complaints about freeware and that this blade of grass or these rivets are not modelled correctly. So let me be the first to ask "When is the patch due out"? Scott.
