March 3, 20206 yr If I'm not wrong, they get clouds shapes from live weather, Meteoblue service as it seems. And that data contains also the cloud type, temp, winds, humidity... Then, the sim generates shape and distribution accordingly those parameters. So the result will be and "illusion" generated from real data. The problem will come with custom weather and how they recreate weather scenarios based on custom parameters.

I tried looking, but only saw cloud coverage as a percentage. My brother has Coronavirus, confirmed by testing. On 3/26 he almost didn't survive the night. He had extreme trouble breathing and was given a steroid inhaler. He was very weak, had nausea, and other issues that aren't pleasant. As of this update he is feeling much better, and seems he will be fine. Stay safe out there. (Updated 4/6)
March 3, 20206 yr Sorry the video link didn't work so reposting here, but could Asobo post a video like this? Or will MSFS offer a "solid overcast"?
