January 7, 20206 yr I like some dirt and smudges on the cockpit controls, as I think it is more realistic. But I agree, the windshield should be clean. If they add options, then the settings for those two should be separate. My brother has Coronavirus, confirmed by testing. On 3/26 he almost didn't survive the night. He had extreme trouble breathing and was given a steroid inhaler. He was very weak, had nausea, and other issues that aren't pleasant. As of this update he is feeling much better, and seems he will be fine. Stay safe out there. (Updated 4/6)
January 8, 20206 yr In Forza Motorsport 7 the windshield gets dirty while driving. I think this would also be nice in MSFS (with an "Cleaning" Option 😊)
January 8, 20206 yr I want my used planes to look used and my new planes to look factory fresh. Can't we have both? Same model, different skins. Intel Core Ultra 9 285K | GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS Elite X ICE | RTX 5080 | 32GB DDR5 | Win 11 Pro | Acer Predator UltraWide 3440x1440 (G-Sync)

It may well be ultra realistic if you consider real world operations in their entirety, but there are some things that I can do without in flight simulation, and that is one of them. I am hoping the aircraft will be 'alive' like A2A, where flight time begins to affect things, like wear and tear, but to a greater extent the need for proper maintenance. I also hope such persistence (as an option, of course) can lead to failures - and not ones we create ourselves. The idea there could be consequences to poor maintenance, piloting, or random, unforeseen occurrences adds that 'fear factor' that makes 'just simming' a bit more consequential.
