In Fsx, I loved having a flight planner in there, because when you "virtually" filed "saved" your flight plan,  ATC, knew where and what you were going to do, and similar to your iPad with foreflight, would get "uploaded" to your GPS. MY lord was that great. Unlike xplane where you need to create your plan in both places.

I really hope that's the er um... plan

AI ATC?  I hope that this game ATC yells at you if you do something deserving of such.

Filing flight plans would be a nice, optional, addition.

My brother has Coronavirus, confirmed by testing. On 3/26 he almost didn't survive the night.  He had extreme trouble breathing and was given a steroid inhaler.  He was very weak, had nausea, and other issues that aren't pleasant.  As of this update he is feeling much better, and seems he will be fine.  Stay safe out there.  (Updated 4/6)

I can't imagine that there would not be some sort of flight planner.  As for AI ATC, I sure hope it is smarter and more adaptable than what was in previous versions of MS's flight simulator series.  I would like to be able to request course deviations so as to fly around thunderstorms and to be able to declare emergencies.  I also hope that a new AI ATC would be smarter and not make you change course, turning 90 degrees left, then 180 degrees right, then 90 degrees left putting you back on the same track that you were on.  That is asking a whole lot, I know.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

Are the team planning ATC? I was thinking it would be a third party add on at a later stage.

I used Radar Contact v4 for years, from FSX to P3dv4.5. It has good points as well as some bad ones. Hopefully someone can run with the ball?

One of the future feature discovery episodes will cover IFR. I suspect it to be about ATC as well. They won't feature it, if they didn't improve it. So there definitely is hope.

Happy with MSFS 🙂
