Fun with TUIfly - Part II

Featured Replies

For this post, today, I installed >20 (easily-found) TUIfly repaints into my 737NG-800WL, quite effortlessly, thanks to the PMDG Op Center working magically, as ever, with my good-old PMDG 737NG, a SIM I've not flown in nearly 6 months, but is always a great pleasure to return to (it works fine still on my system, with a couple of caveats, of course)! This Part II of the account shows 15 images (all PMDG 737NG-800WL). Hope you enjoy this sample as a celebration of all the vibrant colors that is typical of TUIfly Airline!

Also, worthy of note, TUIfly Belgium's 737 fleet have interesting names (imprinted, in large text, across the fuselage) such as follows (an example shown below):

OO-JAF “SMILE” (formerly "FAMILY LIFE")
OO-JAV “HAPPINESS”
OO-JEF “AFFECTION“
OO-JLO “GRACE“
OO-TUK "INSPIRATION"
OO-JAR "ENJOY" (etc. - so it's easy to get this Airline's up-beat message!)

Thanks for viewing, and don't forget to (always) look for the "smile"!
[All PMDG 737NG-800WL Repaints, below, thanks to (volunteer) contributors - most from the Library here]

Great set shots of an airline with so many faces!

I'm preparing for the PMDG 737-600/700 release and uploading your last plane's baby sister along with 7 others you'll see in a post I'm about to write called "737-700 Palooza" here shortly. 🙂

Brilliant work (and glow...🙂...on this new paint of yours), Steve! TUIfly has increased its appeal for me, lately....!

Look forward to your upcoming "Palooza" set!

Mark: I'd never thought it that way...but, yes, agree, this unusual paint does look like a locomotive engine...(speeding away)...🙂...

Patrick: Me neither...! I'd not seen many of these paints for TUIfly. And, I did a quick search-over in the library, and found a few more colorful (and rarely seen, I think...) TUIfly liveries...added here...(making it 20 total repaints for this post...)

Bit of Notes: TUIfly did lease its (737) aircraft to other Airlines...(e.g. I'd shown AirBerlin and Eurowings above). And, below, is (yet) another nice "Yellow" bird, a TUI 737 operated by the Canadian low-cost carrier, Sunwing Airlines ("smile" logo only on the winglets - right winglet seen in the image). Also, here is an interesting "TUIfly HLX Hybrid Color scheme" i.e. the checkered Yellow-cab paint (of "root" HLX Express)...however without the "HLX" print, but only TUIfly! All these images and paints from Avsim Library, here.
