My sim gets about average 60 to 80 fps and sometime more. But for some reason after about 5 to 10 min my fps drop to about 35 -  40 fps without even moving the plane.

How do I fix that?

First make sure that this is what's happening. If it is, then we can go from there. If you are unsure how to do that, then download and install HWiNFO64 and monitor CPU and GPU temperatures when this happens.

CPU temp was around 47C and 48C and GPU temp was between 42C and 47C.

This is happening with the default F-22 aircraft.

What is your system specification (including the CPU cooler)? Is your processor overclocked, and by how much?

No overclocking and a decent cooler does not immediately suggest a thermal throttling issue for the CPU, but what was the processor doing when you noted a temperature of 47C? That is exceptionally good under load, but very high if it was at idle.

Post the list of add-ons.. most likely the frame drop comes when the AI traffic has loaded and becomes active..

i was using P3D.

I've done all the P3D debugging steps, put new thermal paste on the cpu and I'm running out of ideas.

You note that you were using P3D when your CPU temp was 47/48.  That's within the nominal range for a non-overclocked 9900K with good air cooling.  So therefore:

This can also be caused by running out of VRAM. Monitor your GPU memory usage. And fully describe a scenario when it happens. Aircraft, scenery, cfg modifications, settings, hardware.
