February 16, 20206 yr The MD 530F is one of my all time favourite helicopters and a blast to fly in real life, it's an extremely agile and thrilling machine! This morning I decided to take my brand new Milviz MD 530F around PILOT'S new Leicestershire Aero Club in the East Midlands. Leicestershire Aero Club is a small GA airfield just east of the city of Leicester. The airfield dates back to 1942 when the RAF first used it. There is a training centre for pilots at the airfield, my MD 530F is waiting for me in the hangar that houses all the helicopters of a training school. Some old B & W photos in the reception area show the airfield in much earlier years. The hangar with my new MD 530F inside. The hangar doors can be opened using SODE. The MD 530F, a truly stunning flying machine! Some student pilots discussing their training, I think, didn't want to eavesdrop. The scenery is packed with details and features PBR materials. The MD 530F towed out and ready. Walk around and last minute pre-flight checks. Avionics all on and running, ready for engine startup. Engine startup done, ready for my first flight in this superb looking helicopter. Hover taxi past the fuel pumps. And here we go, ready to climb out of EGBG. The MD 530F handles just as expected, it's a great day for a short spin around the airfield. Time to give those visitors at the observation area something to talk about! Always fun to do a low pass near the tower! Time sure flies when you're having fun! I look forward to my next flight in this fine helicopter, thanks for watching.
