Apollo 13 @50

You can relive Apollo 13 in real time thanks to this very interesting and sophisticated app. https://apolloinrealtime.org/13/ by either starting at 1 minute prior to launch or doing it in real time; 50 years ago. I was at home watching the crew of Apollo 13 splashdown; and I'm still at home remembering it 50 years later. And if I'm fortunate to live long enough to witness our getting back to the Moon I'm hoping that I'll be home too!

A real good sentiment to echo. I remember when I was watching Neil take that 'Giant Step.......', how my thoughts went to the poor regular GI, stuck in a foxhole somewhere in Vietnam, as his nation became the very First to land a Man on the Moon, and not being able to partake in the glory of what the rest of the world was witnessing.

And like you consider myself very lucky to be alive, today, to relive it all through the wonders of technology.
