October 16, 200619 yr I took off from London City (EGLC) and flew west to Westminster (The houses of parliment and Big Ben to our American freinds) Looking down at the river, I noticed more sand banks than previously shown in FS9.Trurning 160 degrees to head back east, I reduced my hieght to 1500ft.The 'Wheel' has now been moved into the water. You can now shoot the rapids shortly after.London Bridge Station has been closed and the platforms have been relocated on the north side of the bridge. You can now fly UNDER the Tower road Brige as 'Moses' has parted the water especially for us to.Further East the first and last Bridge, the 'QE2' bridge has been rebuilt and Moses has again, parted the waters forming a low ditch. To top it all, Murphy and Pickfords have been 'fly-tipping' over night and dumped large rocks and boulders to stop low flyers. How could ACES have missed this? Is it because the Thames is not in America? Dave Taylor
October 16, 200619 yr could you please show a screenshot, i don't have FSX yet but i am from London and have heard about these land bridges before and would like to see London and how the thames is modelled, thanks.
October 16, 200619 yr I noticed all this in the Fileplanet Beta and its a shame that nothing was done.. But maybe UT Europe will fix this or the new photographic sceneries that are coming out for the UK.Craig
October 16, 200619 yr Author I have seen the pictures .... it's quite a sight!! http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158738.jpgI have a copy of FSX Deluxe in my room, sealed in its box. I won't even entertain the thought of installing FSX until the Thames is fixed !!!I shouldn't have to buy payware in order to fix fundamental flaws ;) Quote from MS Flight Team Lead: "We’ve made some guesses"
October 16, 200619 yr At least MS has got Dome in the right place this time. How can they keep making an utter mess of one of the most famous cities though?I noticed the mess around the QEII bridge myself. Seeing as someone went to the trouble of modelling the bridge and tunnels you'd have thought fixing the river might have come into it.
October 16, 200619 yr Ok so the dome is right, but yet AGAIN MS decide to put the "breadbin" cargo building in the completely wrong place at Heathrow!!!As for the river...well enough said already..Keith
October 16, 200619 yr Author I will try and get permission to post some more shots!-------------------------------------------Delusion:1. an act or instance of deluding.2. the state of being deluded.3. a false belief or opinion: delusions of grandeur.4. Psychiatry. a fixed false belief that is resistant to reason or confrontation with actual fact e.g. DX10 will magically fix FSX performance issues on the average PC :-lol .
