Does this ship work with v5?

Yes it does and the installer will automatically detect V5.

I changed my mind. It doesn't work even thought it has a V5 installer. Is very bug. The sails won't deploy and it causes CTD eventually nearly every time its loaded.

Hi Folks,

The water physics has been one of my pet peeves since introduced in FS - are the physics any better meaning you get drift with the wind and movement with an aircraft as long as the prop is turning - meaning they’ve eliminated that unrealistic “sticky water” ?

Scott

That's awesome! You can plane spot on VATSIM? I didn't know you could do that.

Got the boat installed and set the location out on water, how do I control it? Seems like throttle isnt working and the boat is floating above the water.

To auto-start the engine, both diesels...you press Ctrl_E. You will hear to distinct engines rumbling to life, aft.  They you use your throttle thumb tab, wheel, whatever on your flight or yoke install and you twist left or right the same as you'd be on land to taxi a plane.  The boat is many tons...and when you turn pivot left or right your yoke or flight stick, it will react slower than what you'd imagine at first  You will get use to that. You also need to download the .cfg PATCH and install that into your Yacht's Folder, so you can obtain 14 knots at open throttle.  You fuel this beast the same as you would any aircraft.  From what I see in your capture, something is most definitely wrong, there...compare to mine..and it's obvious. I don't have a direct suggestion to help you, as I have never in fact seen that happen.  It does look to me, though...that you are still in SLEW mode...Press Y again...and it should settle in.  As you know...SLEW MODE raises even an airplane as you use that feature. Yeah...the more I look at this...you are raised up in SLEW.   Press 'Y' once and you will be out of it.  BTW, if you move your joystick/flight stick any of the axis..and you whip over the land or water...that will be for sure, SLEW MODE engaged, or not engaged if nothing happens fast...

"WOWzer"!   Do the sails unfurl if you press the right key combo?  Wow...!"

Downloading right NOW!  There has to be key commands to bring this baby to life...  and in real life...if this was seen around Washington State..the PNW...it wouldn't bat an eye..for you'd assume a movie was being shot..

You can't in P3D v5..(the yacht) as you can see, the entire dash is black. Try loading this into FSX or P3D 4.5, and you'll see the panel come to life...and all switches work. To bypass that slight 'burp' in P3D v5...use the Ctrl-E to start the engines, and the throttle works, in conjunction with your joystick throttle tab..and to shut down the engines...use this keyboard command  Ctrl-SHIFT-1

I'm downloading this right now, and if I can get it to work/hack it for P3D v5, I'll report back what needs to be done.
