April 22, 20206 yr I've returned V5 for a refund. My version 4.5 is meeting my needs and I rather spend my time flying then tweaking and waiting for developers to update. V5 looked nice and ran smooth until full fat ORBX and FSDT airports, and AI were added and then a slide show in SOCAL even with default planes. Can only imagine fly NGXu into KLAX which I can do quite comfortably in V4.5. Vic green

Its completely your choice based on whether you feel v5 offers enough value for your particular needs. If you decide that there is indeed value present, then you will need to purchase it. April 22, 20206 yr I'm running both at the moment. v5 is going to be outstanding once the wrinkles get ironed out of it. I have all of my airports installed in it, and as soon as I can put ASP5 and the NGXu in it I'll probably switch over.
