April 23, 20206 yr I have tried the manual installation of MyTraffic in older versions of P3Dv3-4+ and it has always worked but can't get the aircraft to show up in P3Dv5 .I double checked for any typos I might have made .
April 23, 20206 yr Moderator @Crusader2, honestly, don't bother with MyTraffic any longer. The schedules are years out of date, the aircraft are very simplistic and the interface is a bit of a nightmare. Try AIG aircraft. Over 600 airlines worldwide, superb aircraft and schedules kept up to date by enthusists. Install as many or as few airlines as you want. It's free but donations are welcome. You won't look back. https://www.alpha-india.net/ Ray (Cheshire, England). April 23, 20206 yr AIG isn't ready yet for v5, but if you have any frame rate problems w/ v5 and you add My Traffic to it, your sunk. Their models are terrible compared to what is available now-days in the looks and performance department. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

Mark, I don't have v5 yet but when I installed AIG it was outside the P3D structure. To get it running in P3D there is an add-on.xml file. Logically, it should just be a case of copying and pasting that file into the equivalent P3D v5 folder and all the traffic you had in v4 should appear in v5. That's the theory. AIG isn't officially supported yet because they have problems with the PBR models landing light effects. But the normal models looks fine. All you need to do is put your AIG entries in your add-ons.cfg. I haven't had any issues with the traffic yet. But be sure to disable the default traffic in Prepar3D v5\scenery\world\scenery\trafficAircraft.bgl or else you might see some default traffic and AIG traffic. However I can't get the AIGAIM to work without crashing on "crawl online data". Edited April 23, 20206 yr by arwasairl

I am using AIG with v5. Here’s a simple description of how to make it work if you’ve already got AIG installed for P3D v4: 1. Go to the folder that contains your add-ons.cfg file for v4: C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 2. Open the file, and find this line: [Package.x] PATH=F:\Airline Traffic AIG\AIGAIM - OCI\OCI-Configuration TITLE=AIGAIM AI Traffic ACTIVE=true REQUIRED=false The PATH section will obviously vary between installs, but the path you have listed for v4 will be correct for v5. 3. Open the add-ons.cfg for v5 in C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5 4. Paste the section above at the end of the file, making sure that the 'x' value is correct. Simple, takes 2 minutes, and gives you excellent traffic. Far better than any of the current payware solutions.
