That’s a possibility, but it looked awful with the completely vanilla install, with no addons. The one caveat is that I only flew in the Caribbean, so I can’t say if maybe the water looked great elsewhere.

May 3, 20206 yr It's just grainy and awful. There's some sort of texture to the water beneath, but it's under a glassy top. It literally looks like flight sim from the 90's.

I'm sure TrueSky (assuming you mean "advanced atmospherics) was not enabled here. I doubt the water was ultra. My VRAM usage was fine with settings pretty near maxed. I did have device hung error once or twice and a CTD from the ATC window. Maybe now that the hotfix is out I should give it another go. The other "problem", as it were, is that my v4.5 setup is just gorgeous and smooth as can be. So I'm having some difficulty convincing myself to spend my time messing around with v5 rather than just enjoying v4.5. Approach to SBH in the Seminole
