October 18, 200619 yr I have been flying in FSX Deluxe tonight and, while I am overall hopeful and optimistic, I am running into bugs:1) The taxi light does not seem to work for any aircraft2) on an IFR flight plan, I occasionally am unable to respond to ATC instructions. This leaves me having to revert to VFR when dropped by ATC or re-open the flight plan. Generally, after I've re-opened the flight plan, I'll get the same bug and will be unable to acknowledge an instruction such as a heading or altitude change.3) The top rotating beacon on the CRJ 700 bleeds through to the bottom surfaces of the aircraft as though the beacon light were located inside the aircraft.Any suggestions?Thanks... October 18, 200619 yr I have the FSX Deluxe version too, and yes the taxi lights are not working for any plane. I might be wrong, but it seems that if you use the landing lights (at least in the Cessna) the taxi lights are on as well.2) Happened to me occasionally too, but could resolve the problem by clicking the line in the atc menu with the mouse. Hope this helps,Rodger
October 18, 200619 yr Yup, same thing here. The taxi-lights are tied to the landing lights and the taxi-light switch doesn't do squat, anywhere. Regarding the runway mist, I too see it in the cockpit in front of the panel if I slow down the aircraft and there is a strong tail or side wind. When this is happening, quickly switch to spot-view and you'll see that it looks like your aircraft is engulfed with the spray.Has anyone posted these issues yet to the "tell-ms" e-mail address? October 18, 200619 yr I reported a few light problems I found. Maule and Goose lights work all at once and can not be controlled individually unless it is the panel light. King Air, landing/Taxi lights still show as three when gear is retracted.duttonhttp://dutton.fsblogger.com/
October 18, 200619 yr The 'bleed thru' was very noticeable in the demo version - and zip all as been done about it?!
October 18, 200619 yr anyone notice the effects for the wet spray are VERY much if not exactly like the touch down smoke we saw in fs9?...doesnt look like water spray at all really...needs to be re-animated and re-textured.Dave Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons

Whenever I try to use the manual open it always occurred, have not had the problem since while using the automatic pop upHope this helpsJoe King

October 18, 200619 yr I've found that if I close the ATC window before I respond to a request/command from them that I can't use the number keys to reply. You can just click on the response you need to give to them with your mouse & all is well.Hope that helps.Jim
October 18, 200619 yr quote: "You can just click on the response you need to give to them with your mouse & all is well."that was exactly what I meant to say. Sorry if it was not clear.Rodger
October 19, 200619 yr Looks like the tires are on fire. It's a big :( ...however, the 3rd party guys are lining up with lots of upgrades as we "type"
October 26, 200619 yr I have also noticed (I was flying the Baron 58) that the landing lights cannot be turned on (like when descending throught 10,000) with the landing light switch. They will turn on when you are on final approach and lower the landing gear with the landing light switch on.Also, gear up on takeoff = landing lights OFFThe gear controls the landing lights ON and OFF! The Baron 58 in FS9 taxi and landing light switches work properly. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
October 26, 200619 yr Also, with the default King Air, when you turn the landing lights on with the gear up you get a ghostly set of lights where the nosewheel should be.Allcott
October 26, 200619 yr I have sent two messages to the tell fs e-mail and got both back undeliverable. I wonder if that is intentional??????:9
