May 11, 20206 yr @reecemj Have you enabled TAWS (A or B) or is the GTN using TERR... ? The former will call out for "system ok" and "500", the latter won't bother you! @Bert Pieke Do you mean the RXP GTN is calling for Traffic too often? If so, you can always disable TCAD. You can also change the TCAD alerts volume with the GUI Settings Panel.

May 11, 20206 yr And, I can report that the GTN now runs nicely in P3D V5 HF1 Note: make sure you have the GTN Trainer updated to V6.62.3 ! .. and not 6.62.0. as I had installed Edited May 11, 20206 yr by Bert Pieke Bert

When I start the standalone trainer the package is 2.7.0.0 and the GTN shows 6.62.0. 2.7.0.0. is the up to date version on the Garmin site. May 11, 20206 yr OK. Interesting. Windows Control Panel, Programs and Features. When I click on the Garmin Aviation Trainers it there shows me the GTN version is indeed V6.62.3. So I appear to be good. Posting this followup for others to see as the standalone GTN trainer itself only shows 6.62.0, and 6.62.0 is what shows in the simulator. So to confirm version go to Control Panel, Programs, find the Garmin Aviation Trainers and start by clicking it. Then it will show you the installed versions. May 11, 20206 yr @fppilot @Bert Pieke This is a 'bug' in the latest GTN trainer 6.62.3, which is displaying 6.62.0 version number. The latest v2.7.0.0 Garmin trainers installer/launcher includes the latest and compatible GTN trainer 6.62.3. If you don't have the latest installed, the RXP GTN installer should prompt you. However I'm noticing the installer script wasn't updated to warn you in case you only have 6.62.0... I'll quickly make a silent update to the installer this morning. This won't change anything if you already have installed the update, it will only help others installing it from now on.
