June 8, 20205 yr Absolutely Ray, the aviation industry uses a hell of a lot of those brown envelopes and quiet rooms. I really regret not buying the FSL Concorde-X when it was available as during lockdown one of my goals was to learn the Concorde systems and how to fly her. Unfortunately nothing out there comes close to modelling it in any depth. Couldn't even find one with a working VC.
June 8, 20205 yr Moderator @Will Fly For Cheese, FSL plan to develop a 64-bit version so you should still get your chance. As to what platform and when are the unknowns I'm afraid. But as I have no intention to buy XP it’s of no interest to me I’m afraid. There’s very little discussion of it in the XP forum. Ray (Cheshire, England). June 8, 20205 yr I looked at X-Plane about a year ago and decided, after appraisal and weighing everything up - it wasn't for me. I certainly wouldn't buy it now as my eye is thoroughly on MS. I hope FSL will bring the Concorde to it. I've been having a look through the leaked stuff this evening whilst eating my sausage and mash. I can't get over the paint job on the C172 in this - the PBR, reflections, just incredible...hardly believable that you're looking at CGI. https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1n54y1X7VL C172 footage starts at 2:58 - there are paint faults and stressed body panels that are more real than real! We're going to get out minds blown - let's stick together. Edited June 8, 20205 yr by Will Fly For Cheese
