June 13, 20205 yr Getting better at Russian thanks to flying the MiG-29 in DCS and getting better at landing it too, although I'm glad it has a braking parachute. In case you're wondering what the title means, that's pronounced 'prekrasno' and it means everything is fine. 🙂 Edited June 13, 20205 yr by Chock Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

Cheers, Ed Not really sure what the relevance of it is to this thread since it doesn't really feature any MiG-29s, but the video is allegedly of radio transmissions between several Russian aircraft, including Sukhoi Su30s and Kamov KA-52s in communication with a Black Sea Fleet vessel whilst coordinating an attack on a Ukrainian ship. June 13, 20205 yr Commercial Member Good shot. And I would also say - Очень здорово на взлёте была сфотографирована эта замечательная птица. МиГ-29 позволят лётчику насладиться совершенной аэродинамикой. It is very nice and unexpected to see a message in Russian! 🙂 Nick Bebyakin / Handmade cameraset - Ezdok v2 and Ezdok v3 EZdok Software. June 14, 20205 yr Author For anyone interested in the MiG-29 and the need to know what all those Russian placards are, there are a couple of things I've made use of (other than reading the manual of course), including this book, which is a reproduction of the manual created to assist Western pilots on flying the MiG-29, and the fact that the Indian Air Force versions of the MiG-29 which you can get for FSX/P3D from FlyFreeStd, actually have English language placarding and Imperial symbology on the HUD. Guess we can thank the British Empire for that one. 🤣 Those FlyFreeStd MiGs for FSX and P3D, in not being the A model of the MiG-29 which is in DCS and instead a bit more like the MiG-35, don't have the exact same avionics fit (i.e. they have more glass in there), but most of the side panel switchology and the annunciator panel lights are the same on early and later models. Those FSX/P3D ones are currently heavily discounted at Simmarket at the moment too, for those of you who like a bargain. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
