I’ve never dived in to the FSLabs busses, as I’ve previously used the AS busses, but might look at them for V5

I know they can be quite heavy on the performance hit and obviously we don’t know about V5 versions yet, but In terms of FPS etc how is the performance compared to other add-ons such as PMDG?

I have both PMDG and FS A320 as well as the AS A320 and the PMDG and FSlabs A320 are similar in performance demands the AS busses are much less taxing but I only fly the FSlabs A320 now. However P3Dv5 is a whole new beast with the ability to handle a great deal more!

I am looking forward to the performance improvements with my FS A320 when it releases.

Aside from a few posters on the FSL forums losing their minds over sharklets, I have seen the odd post from testers that would indicate that there has been an improvement in performance.

In P3D4.5 for me it is also about the same in performance as the PMDG ngxu. Yes,it is some of the most demanding aircrafts out there but you get so much in return for it, such as system depth, realism and immersion. It has for example a very nice intergration with GSX. They constantly update the models with more additions. Definitly one of my best purchases ever for flightsim.

Yes that coupled with the great improvements in P3Dv5 I'm excited to see how it performs when released especially with all the new PBR changes.

Thanks for the input guys! Sounds good that they are not to different performance wise compared to the PMDG addons

I don’t actually think that’s true. PMDG is noticably smoother and gives better frame rates (737/747/777). In VR, i’ve never found the FSL A320 to be enjoyable, whereas i’ve spent 100s of happy hours with the PMDGs.

I am hoping that the A320 will work a bit better in v5, there’s a very good chance that it will.
