Runway lights always on?

The airport lighting is way too bright and can be seen from miles out, this seems highly unrealistic as I've heard many real world pilots saying even at night it is quite difficult to spot an airport out in the distance. You would normally would have to look for a big area with no lights unless you're within a certain angle of the runway, in which you would see the runway lights. I hope MSFS addresses this issue with the airport lighting, the weird floating lights and the individual light sizes, especially in 4k, they look like pixelated squares, looks horrible.

whatever happened to this ?  I don't follow these things as closely as some of you.  But I just wanted to see if they have made any more comments on removing the daytime runway lights/
