Development for MSFS was announced via mail and on Facebook. No details about what products will be made compatible are released yet. On the forums, it is confirmed that some of the most popular airports will be brought to MSFS. They’re looking at cross-platform upgrade pricing.

Photosim Labs

This developer will bring all of its current P3D airports across to MSFS, but will continue development for P3D as well.

Sierrasim Simulations

Sierrasim has announced that they will convert sceneries to the new simulator. Which ones will be made public after the release.

UK2000

Gary Summons, CEO, has confirmed on the forums that products will be converted to MSFS and that there will be upgrade costs. If it doesn’t take a lot of work, they will be free. Work for P3D and X-Plane will be on hold for some time, because the focus is on converting airports to MSFS. The latest timeline and release estimates that were published are not valid anymore.

VerticalSim

An X-Plane developer this time, but in line with some other devs, VerticalSim will be waiting for the full SDK to release and the platform to reach maturity before addons will be developed for this simulator. They will try to convert some sceneries to the new platform, but dedicated development will only come at a later stage.

Hi,

we already have a topic for this, but I couldn't find it, right now. Maybe a mod can transfer this topic to the original post.

According to this source, some publishers like UK2000 plan upgrade prices or even free upgrades, if the redesigning work is not too complicated. Just look at the Link below..

Should be enough to blow a few hundred quid on addons.

I wonder if PMDG will have the FSX or P3D pricing?? After getting my aircraft dispatch licence this last spring I would like to get more serious in my simming. I love the "Triple Seven" and would like to learn the PMDG 777. Aside from the A2A C-172 and P-40 I've never really put the time into study level aircraft. Hopefully I'm not completely over my head 🤣

I think the answer is yes, but they might have changed their plans, what they've said on november last year was:

We anticipate NG3 going to market at around $139.99. NGXu is priced at $99.99. If you purchase NGXu, you will only be charged $40 at that time, while new customers to NG3 will pay the full $139.99.
