August 13, 20205 yr Great news and awesome video from their CEO ! As a long time customer of their FMS Data and the newer Charts software, I have now upgraded to an Ultimate Annual subscriber vs monthly (saves a few bucks over monthly prices). Thanks Navigraph ! I recommend their products to anyone sitting on the fence 😊 Quote
August 13, 20205 yr I wonder if the navigraph will replace the ms navdata, or if it will reside belongside it, ie they are interchangeable. Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78

According to the video it will replace the ms navdata, which makes perfect sense. That way you will have what Magnus refers to as "unified navdata through the entire sim ecosystem". I don't think so with default airplanes. MSFS uses NavBlue from Airbus. Navigraph is a standalone application, connected to the SIM via Simlink, but running on its own, I believe addon airplanes will be able to use it via the FMS Data Manager. Quote This is because data requirements from each developer may be different or not be suitable through Microsoft’s data; either because of API restrictions or the fact it’s an external product (think SimBrief). Navigraph will continue to offer this data via the FMS Data Manager for these addons and also the new simulator. Edited August 13, 20205 yr by RamonB Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

Maybe sometime next year when there are add-on airliners available, but the VFR charts feature might make me upgrade sooner. I will have to see a review of the product once it is available before I decide. All these announcements....😃 Anthony A. Moise
August 13, 20205 yr Andreas Stangenes3 hours ago Thanks, a long time Navigraph subscriber here. Will the navigraph data overwrite microsoft navigation data, or will it go in a folder along side it, so that we can chose which base we want to use? Ie. are they interchangable? REPLY Highlighted reply Navigraph 3 minutes ago Flexibility is key, so you will of course be able to decide which set you want to use. Let’s call it a backup/restore function. However, you won’t be able to use them simultaneously, but that’s probably a redundant remark. 🙂 Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78
