August 15, 20205 yr I started using the Microsoft Flight Simulator X for Pilots: Real World Training last year because I wanted to learn to fly, the mechanics of it, and all the details but since MFS2020 was announced I thought I'd wait and start over again with the new game. Do you know if there's a book like the one I mention, or any sort of guide planned to release with the new game? Or should I just be patient? I'm sure the game comes with a tutorial but I enjoyed using that guide since it was so complete.
August 15, 20205 yr That sounds just like what I need! I hope someone can lend us both some good info.
August 15, 20205 yr I have that book. I am sure that most of the same principles still apply so I would think that it is still useful as is. I intend to re-read it again. May all your landings be safe ones! Hugh Costello - NZWN
August 16, 20205 yr Author Yes, but since it had specially designed scenarios to follow with the book it won't be the same 100%. Hopefully they update it with new scenarios. If not I'll try to still use the book with the new game.

August 16, 20205 yr I really hope we get at least some documentation for the more complex aircraft with the sim. I haven't seen any "learning center" or anything at all apart from the checklists from the preview videos so far. The only thing that's confirmed are the Cessna 152 flight lessons.
August 16, 20205 yr I got that book this weekend for £5 off eBay, whilst it's not technically for the new Sim a lot of the information will carry over. Personally i learn best by actually doing the task and practicing, so for me the book will only be for reference material anyway.
