Real World Weather...

Is anyone else currently experiencing the global absence of weather?

I just fired up the sim twice and on the globe there are no clouds at all and no matter where I look, it's all clear sky.

First I checked whether I had switched off the display layer but not, it is on.

Not as of around 20 minutes ago, particularly noticeable was a large swirl in the mid-atlantic.

Maybe it's just my local node acting up.

Everything was fine an hour ago. Now I returned for my first U.S. adventure only to find a clear globe with no clouds at all. I tested the other layers (Precipitation and Wind effect[whatever that is]) but those do not show up either.

How do you see the current weather conditions in the sim?

Well, I do it the same way they did a long time ago.  I enter the sim, then look at the sky.

No, I'm not being frivolous.  In P3D with Active Sky I'd check windy.com then the Active Sky weather map and look at individual METARs.  Then I'd either fly with that weather or start selecting historical weather from AS until I found something I liked.

In MSFS I have no idea what kind of weather I'll be getting.  Sometimes it looks right, sometimes I have no idea where it's coming from.  If I don't like the weather, I'll chose a weather theme.  Overall the weather works for me, as long as I'm not too picky.

Hoping for better in the future, and Active Sky for MSFS will be a day one purchase when it's available.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

I think that it's just being overloaded, they will figure it out hopefully. Another thing I noticed is that in the G1000 the weather direction was in the opposite direction since I had Active Sky opened and connected to in LNM

Yup, no weather in Atlanta. It's storming right now and I was hoping to check out live weather. No luck so far.

Well it is working again. And not only that, the Azure based ATC is now also working.
