Installed to my external hard drive and it's updating 90gb to my c drive don't understand why the update is so large any ideas.

Yes, you’re installing the game again! You’re gonna end up with two installs. I had this problem too, with game pass and the purchased deluxe edition.

It says C drive, but I think it’s actually a shortcut to your external drive. Odd how it does that.

And 95 GB was the size of the regular download for the digital version, so it sounds like the disk version got you nothing...?

There are 2 options in the store. MSFS and MSFS preorder. Unfortunately the one it runs by default is preorder which downloads it again. However even after choosing the other it insists on updating. Store app upgrade on/off is greyed out. The upgrade seems to through every increment Hanada 1.26, 1.27, 1.28 and isn't using al of even my modest internet. I will never use Microsoft store again.

It's the worst software to install I've come across Sorry what do you mean by hanada 1.26 1.27 1.28

Watching the updates it install Hanada airport version 1.26 then version 1.27 etc, instead of just the latest. It is now using all my internet so the servers must have overloaded. The tabloid headline was a result of my frustration. I have all the flightsims and have never had so much trouble installing one.

One last question if you don't mind have you got it up and running if so how many GB was the update

16 gb. Not there yet.
