Yet, over the last few years how many have rolled their eyes and vilified software addons releases in similar state as well as the people who bought them described as "paying beta testers". well, I did sign up for the beta and never got an invite, so... Did you ever stop to consider that "they released it too early" is an opinion? do you know there are people, lots of people who would prefer using something in a somewhat rough state to waiting around forever until everyone is satisfied? For myself, I'd rather have it than wait, particularly since even in the state that it is in right now is brilliant. I would absolutely hate it if I knew I couldn't be flying this thing right now because I was waiting for Asobo to make some hard-headed forum denizens happy. If the relatively small amount of cash outlay is absolutely unriskable don't buy anything at release. if you are a perfectionist, or are waiting for PMDG or whatever, then wait til then. don't kill my enjoyment in the meantime. For the second point, name me literally any software title, and I will find you multiple petulant posts on a forum whining about being a paying beta tester. you won't hear that from me. This thing moves the needle for flight sims, and it's pretty rock solid stable. sign me up for that 10 out of 10 times.

Direct to does work in the little gps in the steam gauge 172. Now if only we had a plane with both nexrad and direct to working...
August 30, 20205 yr I've enjoyed trying out the sim, the visuals can be breathtaking. However, there are few things that kill the immersion: At my home airport of KBNA, there are no taxiway signs, much less incorrect ones. There are runway signs, but no taxiway signs. Taxing is just as much part of the flight sim experience and following the charts as you navigate an airport is part of the fun, IMO. All of the other sims managed to include correct taxiway signs, so why not this one? I understand not every airport will be handcrafted, but taxiway signs should be a staple. To get around the live weather bug for now, I'll check the local METAR and set it up via the custom option. ATC will direct me to the appropriate runway, but checking the ATIS beforehand when starting up the plane still gives the (incorrect) live weather data. Edited August 30, 20205 yr by mikeklimek
