September 6, 20205 yr Excellent shots! Do you find it hard to fly any other time of day with this sim? I sure do! Old habits. This sim just blows me away, not many flights were I don't look at my screen and think..."look at that"...🙂 Its like flying with TE Orbx with auto gen all on max, traffic is on, shadows on everything on, clouds out to the horizon, sky's and lighting to to die for and not one add on need to do all that lol. It is just so sublime in MSFS...none of that environment popping like in the previous version...it just smoothly transitions to any time of day....watching the ground lighting come on is an experience never felt in previous versions. It was always...pop...on...pop...off. I don't even want to look at the spreadsheet I used to keep with all my software purchases on it...esp for scenery! Out of the box this sims beats all previous versions...no matter how much money and time configuring we put into them....hands down. I agree you dont need full ultra for an awesome experience...just need to fine tune it for what your individual system is capable of. Do you find yourself squinting at the sun? Even though its no brighter that the white background on a web page? Hehe...its a pretty cool thing about the sim.
