Self-Loading Cargo is a real-time simulation of passengers a

not bad at all, certainly adds to the immersion. The only issue is with the doors that need to be connected to a jetway which they are aware of 🙂

I love this addon. I wish it did what FSPax did with regards to failures, but sans risk of life or limb it's an absolutely fantastic addon.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

I have it and have been using it for some time now. It is fantastic and I can recommend it with confidence. Not to mention, the Discord community is one of the best I am a member of.

This is a great add-on. I usually fly GA aircraft or small regional aircraft and it works well with them too. I've created a cabin plan for the TBM 930 (5 passengers, no flight attendants, no food or drink service), and two for the Cessna Caravan EX (one is business 1-1 arrangement, nine passengers and 1 crew, and a 13 passenger 1-2 economy layout, with one crew). I included a kitchen area (really a stock of sandwiches and drinks) so I can feed passengers in flight.  I did include a toilet, which is unrealistic, but I didn't want passengers wetting themselves, so it's little concession to the limits of the program.

I also use the text to speech for the Captain. With the variable tags, you can have announcements custom to your flight, such as actual destination, actual altitude, actual time of day etc.

For example, flying from Tampa to Orlando in the morning as United 139. You can have the following text:  "[greeting] and welcome aboard [flight number] to [destination]". Would read "Good morning and welcome aboard United 139 to Orlando."

It comes with default text to speech already, and it is so easy to copy it, and then edit to what you want it to say. The manual has everything you need to do this.

One bug I've noticed is if I set a time of day in the simulator, Self Loading Cargo reads the actual zulu time of the simulator (not the time I set it too).

Highly recommend it.  It works with any simulator and I have it working alongside Pilot2ATC.

I quite like it, having said that the doors issue stopped me from using it as there are quite a few airports where ground services are not present or I can't connect a jetway or ramp (even on payware ones), other bugs also presented themselves where doors open/close non stop and you can't get passengers to board/disembark.  The dev is aware of it and it's on the list of fixes to come in the next version.  But as mentioned I stopped using it because it's quite frustrating when this happens upon arrival and you can't complete the SLC part of the flight because of this door thing.

This may be a workaround https://flightsim.to/file/6084/msfs-door-tool  I haven't tried it yet but I plan to next a320 flight I take.

Bottom line I don't want to sound negative on it because I still recommend it and have no regrets purchasing it either and I expect it to only get better.

this tool neds more updates, it isn't updated from a long time

The dev seems pretty active on his discord but no ETA on the next version yet.  There is also pacx, I actually bought that as well but the thing that I dislike about that is that it forces you to use your own voice for announcements.  I don't like doing so meaning I'm left with no communications from the cockpit at all.  The passenger side of things may be much better simulated in pacx though but I ended up refunding it, not sure but based on their marketing spiel it would have a lot of pre recorded events.  Some people even seem to use both, if pacx ever gets recorded cockpit messages I might revisit it.

In SLC the passenger activity side of things though and looking at the movements around the cabin is a bit of a gimmick though, same with getting their psychic feedback and it doesn't seem to be impacted either by what you are doing.  Sometimes there is gusty wind and turbulence and they still talk about how pleasant the flight is and how smooth the air is, I ended up ignoring all that.

+1 for SLC. After a few tweaks to get it to work with Working Titles masterfully crafted CJ4 and adding a custom voice pack it is awesome. The interface is not as rich and user friendly as PACx, but it is more interactive. However I cannot recommend at this point since it is barely functional on smaller planes and failures/incidents is not implemented with a long overdue update (nothing since August 2020). If this was a freeware I would understand the delay.

No pay pal so no go for me at this time.
