September 17, 20205 yr Hello Is there any FPS/Performance improvements after the second update? Thanks Nikita Edited September 17, 20205 yr by Nikita Kardash
September 17, 20205 yr Hi Nikita For myself - absolutely yes There is a huge topic already open in the MSFS forum that must be nearly 30 pages long already since yesterday. I'd encourage you to look at that thread, as many useful points have been made by users, that might be useful for you to be aware of. Ray
September 17, 20205 yr Pretty sure the overwhelming consensus is "yes", significant improvements in frames and especially smoothness. With a caveat: You must remove *any and all* mods you installed and any changes you made to config files. Then you can add them back in one by one later.
September 17, 20205 yr there should be a sticky pinned out post that advices Everyone to remove any mods before the updates . I removed the few things i had played with before downloading the update also did a fresh restart and YESS i can see a overall FPS improvement .... Image removed as image is no longer available.
September 17, 20205 yr I have added some of the freeware sceneries to the community folder but the only changes to aircraft configs have been to change (permanently) the aircraft callsigns, including, in the downloaded livery packs. Do I have to remove all of those and re-apply the, and, if so, do I have to do this for every update?? Eventually, this will take a lot of time as Devs get stuck into new releases. Regards Tony Tony Chilcott. My System. Motherboard. ASRock Taichi X570 CPU Ryzen 9 3900x (not yet overclocked).
