September 20, 20205 yr This shot looks amazing....in the SIM...with positioning of the winglet over the flash...!! (I distinctly recall one occasion, running into a series of these things....just prior to a late night arrival...into O'Hare...yes, nasty and quite un-nerving, while in the sky...)

September 20, 20205 yr It's coming back to me a bit more now...with these (additional) "safety" and "other" guidelines....above...🙂... (There was a time, I used to be quite well up on "many" of the O'Hare SIDs/STARs/FIXes...Of course, in the SIM only, in the glory days of newly-introduced iFly/PMDG 737...not so any more, these days...some of those were named e.g. after Chicago Bear Football "STAR"s etc....I recall....)... Anyway, the arrival and approach, that night, was over Lake Michigan (I do recall, generally, approach to O'Hare from/over the Lake side was quite common, and, then, one, as a passenger, could get a good look at the skyline...), it was a smaller plane, a 320 or a 737, and from my side window (a big fan of side-windows, always,...🙂...), I could see the reflections of the lightning on the Lake during banking of the plane....(those I recall more than the actual things up above in the sky...it was, to say the least, "un-nerving")...
