November 4, 200619 yr X-Planes uses OpenGL. The only good API.If the aircraft in X-Plane where like the aircraft in FS9 and FSX the sim would be just awesome!
November 4, 200619 yr I have no FSX woes. I'm not tried of FSX at all in fact the more I use it the better it gets. The planes are much better in FSX then any other version. If you feel X-plane is for you go for it just A ? though why do you feel its something you should post in here? I mean you have really blasted FSX for some reasons that make no sense. Its really getting old FSX is bashed daily by some just because you want use your sliders. It has nothing to do with tweaks. It has pleanty to do with the way FSX can be set up Let FSX choose your settings then you may be happy about FPS.
November 4, 200619 yr Author >X-Planes uses OpenGL. The only good API.>>If the aircraft in X-Plane where like the aircraft in FS9 and>FSX the sim would be just awesome! One other thing. X-Plane severely lacks airport detail. Most airports are just runways & taxiways with no buildings.
November 4, 200619 yr There are coversion tools for scenery, "ANY" scenery can be converted from FSX to X-Plane 8+, and it looks awesome, default textures in X-Plane are beeter I feel. But like I said, I still fly both.
November 4, 200619 yr Well if everyone followd that advice this forum would be even more flooded with FSX complaints than it is already!!Bruceb Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
November 5, 200619 yr I thought about X-plane as I had it several years ago. Tried the demo and sorry, I will keep FS9. I just like it better.JimCYWG
